IceManNYR 240 Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 From a CNN press release: Bart Feder, chairman of The FeedRoom, an online video provider, becomes senior vice president for current programming, and Scott Matthews, vice president and news director of WNYW-TV and WWOR-TV in New York City, becomes director of programming. Both are newly created positions within CNN/U.S. with Feder reporting to Klein and Matthews reporting to Feder. Feder’s appointment is effective immediately, and Matthews begins on Monday, Feb. 11.
abcbnbcwfox 0 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 When assistant news director Jim Driscoll was promoted up to news director at channel 9, channel 5 hired Meredith MacGinn as their new assistant. I wonder if she'll move up now. If so, she's certainly on the fast track but I wonder if she'll make any changes to the WNYW product.
CBS2 HD 0 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I think Dianne Doctor will become WNYW's news director.
Amra 171 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I think Dianne Doctor will become WNYW's news director. I believe the same now that Swanson is on FOX Television Stations and Lew Leone is GM at FOX 5.
abcbnbcwfox 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Yes......... good luck to Scott. Besides Dianne Doctor, there's also rumors that Jim Driscoll will go back to 5.
