kjohnson 17 Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 Tenth Batch I've got a few more, but they are just a tad too big. Screens as promised. Took a couple tries with WMP to get it take captures.
CircleSeven 1960 Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 It's very obvious it's the same graphics that WCNC, KING 5 & KREM 2 is using. The only difference is the colors that KMOV uses which is highly appropriate along with their nice new set they have now. I'm still questioning which new music package they switched to.
clind 2 Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Interesting set, I take it another Belo station?
tvweatherman 0 Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Yes, KMOV is a Belo station. I am still trying to figure out the music too. It is killing me!!! LOL!!
tvweatherman 0 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Does anyone know who did the graphics?? Also, did FX group do the set? Thanks, tvweatherman
Ntropolis 599 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Also, did FX group do the set? Yup... http://www.newscaststudio.com/blog/2008/02/01/extreme-makeover-kmov/
kjohnson 17 Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 Anyone have video yet? I'll do it. You have any idea how to convert MediaCenter dvr-ms files to a format that makes it uploadable?
jestbiteme 13 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I'll do it. You have any idea how to convert MediaCenter dvr-ms files to a format that makes it uploadable? I dunno, I capture pure m2t files from my Firewire DVR and Quicktime does the rest :-/
tvweatherman 0 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I dunno, I capture pure m2t files from my Firewire DVR and Quicktime does the rest :-/ sounds a little lazy to me!!! LOL!! JK.
A3N 1002 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I'll do it. You have any idea how to convert MediaCenter dvr-ms files to a format that makes it uploadable? When I record stuff onto my Media Center and then try to upload it to YouTube, I use Windows Movie Maker and edit that way. It makes it easier to use since I can cut out the extra junk. So try Windows Movie Maker (if you have it).

srosenow_98 32 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 I'm not typically a fan of Belo stations, but I'll certainly say I do like that set. The logo is alright, too. Reminds me strongly of KOMO's logo from 1987-2000.
jdcnow 14 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Does anyone know who did the graphics?? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a Giant Octopus package?
oneframedissolve 0 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Muddy, dull, early-90's looking...can't be GO
kjohnson 17 Posted February 7, 2008 Author Posted February 7, 2008 I'm not typically a fan of Belo stations, but I'll certainly say I do like that set. The logo is alright, too. Reminds me strongly of KOMO's logo from 1987-2000. That video is still on the way (I'm taking 4 classes at university, and was sick to boot), so I'm running a little behind myself. KOMO's logo was an exact square. KMOV's "modern" tv set logo came into use around 2001. The older logo looked very much less like KOMO's. However, the "4" are very close. I'm not entirely sure what typeface it is.
