who?cares 254
Some changes have unexpectedly occurred in the Indy market. 1) Meteorologist Sean Ash has left WISH-TV for Detriot "to follow his heart". 2) Ray Cortopassi (former anchor, then field reporter) left WRTV after his contract was not renewed. 3) Tracy Forner's (morning anchor) contract was not renewed with WXIN FOX 59. ***All this info can be found on Indystar.com or by google-ing the respective persons name. WickedYoungMan 0
The guy replacing Tracy Forner is Scott Jones, who I used to know (not personally of course) as Scott Kline at WANE-TV in Fort Wayne! Wonder why he has a different last name now? Anyway, I liked Tracy, but I think the Fox59 Morning News has gotten a bit stale. I RESPECT that the powers at be wanted people to take the station more seriously for it's news, but it's basically just like the other stations in town in the morning. My fav. line up at the morning news (when it was Fox 59 AM) involved Clarence Renoylds, Jordana Green, Cody Stark, Catt Sadler, Joni Michels, Shireen Sandoval, and Tracy Forner (he did a portion of the news.) They had some REAL chemistry and it was always fun to watch. mobilene 2
Joni Michaels is now at WRTV on Good Morning Indiana in SkyCam 6 for LiveDrive Traffic. Which I'm not sure adds anything to the newscast, as much as I like Joni. TrfRptr 3
Way late here, I know. But Scott Jones used to be Scott Kline because I believe his mother's former husband adopted Scott (or something), so he changed the name. But apparently they are no longer together so he goes with his given last name...Jones. Megatron81 263
Tracy Forner had two stints in West Michigan I think he worked for WZZM in the 90's and was the original morning anchor when Fox17 debut a morning show in 06 but because he couldn't sell his home in Indy. And didn't want to go back & forth from GR M-F to Indy on the weekend can't blame him for that family first. Tim Doty left CBS4 earlier this year worked for Fox17 for many years left in late 2014 for Indy which I thought that Fox17 misused his talents shouldn't have been an anchor on Weekend morning Newscast just my opinion.
