When there was nasty storms 10 days ago all the weather local TV station didn't do the podcast style Wood TV had most of the weather mets in for that night. The only station that does that podcast style is WXMI. I think TV station groups are trying something new as a lot have said the podcast style may work in some markets but not all markets, just trying to get their footing what works or not work. I'm wait and see on this podcast style weather & news segments.

CBSMV doing what NBCU putting dramas on weekdays/nights with FBI Most Wanted? I thought that Ghost would get into syndication this fall don't they have enough for 5 days a week.

The EU will prove the merger as the land down under Aussie has already approved the deal. And I believe that Ellisons will sell the some of the cable networks as I have heard there willing to sell nick or Cartoon Network.

I thought it was going to be Comcast that was going to be buying Roku. I didn't think it would've been FOX since they own Tubi I see them meagering Tubi & Roku in my opinion.

I thought that WPLG was going to get the Heat as they aired 10 games in 2025-26 season.

The Weather Channel gone home for the weekend surprised they didn't go wall to wall for weather coverage for Sun like FOX Weather did, which FOX Weather at least doesn't have the gone home sign for the weekends anymore.

I'm really surprised that Ted Turner didn't try and make a CNN Weather Channel for cable since he was the creator of the cable TV bundle after all. R.I.P. Ted Turner. Surprised it took CNN this long to get a weather app out.

WILX should've always do the news for WSYM Scripps had no business trying to do the news on their own for FOX47 in my opinion, as it was cheap and low budget no wonder why Journal gave up doing the news for FOX47 in 2004 or 2005 and made a deal with WILX to do the news. I looked at an old TV Guide that i have from Dec, 5-11 1998 with Hulk Hogan, and 3 others I wanted The Stone Cold Steve Austin one since my parents got TV Guide through the mail I got Hulk Hogan which I know no one cares LOL. I saw that WSYM FOX47 had news before WXMI FOX17 which they launched in Jan of 1999 which was interesting as I thought that FOX17 had news before FOX47.

Which the Pistons will be aired on WXMI DT2 in the fall since Scripps owns FOX17 in West Michigan, even know there was no mention of WXMI will be said once the Pistons get OTA across the state of Michigan come fall. The Pistons were aired on channel 17 in the 80s until 93 then WXSP from 99-08.

I doubt WZZM news building is all that good looking but I don't know that for sure but they have a weather deck since that was TEGNA's thing to do. Is TEGNA HQ got a for sale sign up have higher ups moved out of HQ somewhere VA?

Why is it that Ari is off that they don't have a fill-in host for FOX Weather At Night? Haley would be good, Micheal Estime, Jane etc. I like how Michael says level 3 is the BBQ with the risk areas I always hope where I live doesn't get the BBQ, I'll take the mustard & ketchup which is level 1 & 2 before the BBQ.

I knew that Mike Tomlin was going to go into broadcasting when he left the Steelers, I like Mike Tomlin he should do a good job as a broadcaster for the studio show for SNF On NBC.

Not surprised that IHeart & SiriusXM will maybe mergering the old way of radio isn't coming back. The IHeart radio station that comes in clear is Star 105.7 & B93 out of GR. Star's rival for many years was 106.5 they were the same format, but they've changed formats so many times at Midwest since 2006 and I don't know who won the ratings. The blowtorch in Kazoo is 103.3 WKFR and it isn't even close B93 only beat WKFR a handful of times in the 90s, which B93 is the blowtorch in West Michigan for country music and for a couple of decades had a B93 Birthday Bash in June which ended a few years ago.

I'll check it out as I like the sports business side of things. In West Michigan it will be between Scripps, Nexstar lower networks not the main 2 ones, Sinclair their Indie station.

ACCUWeather should be wall to wall when there is a severe weather outbreak in my opinion and not sign off at 8PM and then just a weather loop of radar maps. How can you taken them seriously when they go home at 8PM when an outbreak is still on going, I know Geoff did Tue 4PM to 8PM which is more like podcast setting as there doing a YouTube Live Berine was doing Fri outbreak coverage. Should have 2 mets doing outbreak coverage Anna Azallion 4PM to 8PM Geoff 8PM to 11PM as they should be on until then in my opinion. They need to do better. ACCUWeather only has 5 mets on hand as Melissa Contanzer left ACCUWeather at the end of Jan I think. ACCUWeather is cheap and low budget why there a dog when it comes to national weather channels in my opinion.

Sinclair will buy the TV stations once again even if their just Diginets.

These lawsuits aren't going to save the jobs in broadcast in my opinion or Pay-TV bills either what AGs & DirecTV are saying in their lawsuit. TEGNA will be sold which will be piece meal if the merger is denied by the courts which is poison pill no matter the outcome.

Not all on the same channel WXSP airs it from 5PM to 7PM & WOTV 7PM to 8PM. First hour is Family Feud Favorites.

Maybe once Scripps owns WZPX isn't going to be known until a few months after the sales goes final.

Family Feud is overkill where I live it's in a 3-hour block 5PM to 8PM in West Michigan.
