  1. CW+ will be airing True Crime News at 7:30PM & 12AM, update I was wrong True Crime News will be aired in the mornings on WZZM at 10AM to 11AM replacing a Judge Judy run I thought it be as I said above at 7:30PM. And GMFB Overtime was going to be played in any time of day or night wasn't just mornings or afternoons.
  2. Which I wonder if NBC did give-up 10PM if Nexstar would air news on both WXSP & CW6 at 10PM or if they would drop it and be only on the main channel Wood TV. Since I don't see NBC giving up 10PM anytime soon not happening. I just don't think there needs to be anymore news to be added in my opinion as nothing happens in West Michigan.
  3. I thought that KFOX would air The National Desk. ARC Mornings must be a morning newscast I still don't like the ARC branding by Sinclair. Seem that Sinclair didn't have that meltdown like that hacking in 2021. I read that a few Gray TV stations had a meltdown from the Fri like airports, banks, & hospitals etc.
  4. WADL will be airing Two & Half Men from WKBD come the fall.
  5. True Crime News will be airing on WZZM as they have the stations up on the website no times have been given for many of the TV stations other than a handful. Which I think True Crime News will air at 7:30PM replacing Daily Blast Live in my opinion on Sep 9, makes sense that the TV stations are up since the website has been up since The Crime Watch Daily days.
  6. I thought that Fox News would've aired coverage of the cane hitting the Texas coast as it made landfall in the overnight hours from Fox Weather.
  7. Jeff Shell isn't going to sell off CBS once the merger is approved and a done deal in a few months from now.
  8. Makes sense that FTVN paid to get the DEFY branding from Scripps what would they do with the name other than it being a footnote on Wiki and other media history websites. on Spectrum channel 193 in Kazoo they have the ION+ lineup on the guide and not DEFY lineup. Only thing I'd watch on DEFY is Pawn Stars & maybe Live PD: Police Patrol which isn't the OG Live PD for 3 hours just the spinoffs Sat is a full day of Live PD: PD Cam & Live PD: Police Patrol from 10AM to 2AM. Scripps got some money for the DEFY name so they won big time, surprise that Kratz didn't want to bring back TrueReal LOL for FTVN.
  9. WXSP has dropped The Good Doctor in the 2-Hour block on Sun and is now Chi Fire from 8PM to 10PM and takes 30-minute break returns where it has been the last couple of years at 10:30PM to 11:30PM. Kinda surprised by that move as I thought that if it leaves a station doesn't happen until Sep and is The Good Doctor leaving weekend syndication this fall?
  10. The Fox O&O in Detroit airs most of the Detroit Lions games than the CBS station and I think last year CBS only aired 2 Lions games.
  11. ICrime was renewed for season 3 I read about it all the way back in Jan or Feb of this year Vargas is still host of the show. I'll check out Crime Expose with Nancy O'Dell always liked her when she was on Access Hollywood & sometimes would watch ET. I liked Crime Watch Daily I'll also check True Crime News which I wonder if that will be aired in the afternoons or in the access prime to compete with Inside Edition late night as well.
  12. Jack Doles sports director/anchor of Wood TV sports has gone to a ton of Olympic games winter & summer and does a live shot at 6PM or a tape segment as well about the local athletes competing at the games. I'm guessing he'll be going to Paris for the games the only one he didn't do was Salt Lake City someone else from a sister TV station from LIN went to Salt Lake City in 2002 from Austin TX TV station.
  13. I think some will be union shops while others will not become union shops as TV station owners will fight tooth & nail to not have a union shop.
  14. I'm surprised that CBS hasn't sold that Indy Start TV channel to someone else why keep it truth be told.
  15. Kings Of Queen's is leaving syndication along American Housewife as well.
  16. I think the investigative units of news stations is where the ambush happens on contractors that scam people which I like when they catch them on camera. I feel that would be a good show for local TV stations to do for at least a half hour on the weekends I remember Spike TV had a series called To Catch A Contractor which they need or any type of scamming doesn't have to be contractors. You still see ambushes in newscasts largely businesses taking average Joe/Jane's money for work done at the house.
  17. I wonder if WBD will sell its stake in NBATV after 2024-25 NBA season is over. I think Charles Barkley will remain on TV in some form the money is too much for him to retire if he does retire all the best enjoy retirement Sir Charles.
  18. I think NBC should use USA Network to air some Big East games and not have it all for Peacock kinda like the NBA deal as well.
  19. Fox will have the doubleheader as they also air the Coke500 the same day as the Indy500. Has CBS ever got the rights to Indy500, I know ABC had it for decades before NBC a few years ago and now Fox in 2025.
  20. I don't see Sinclair axing NBC just because of MSNBC taking them to task Sinclair doesn't care if they get good press or bad press like most O&O's along with cable news in my opinion.
  21. I'm glad to see Daily Blast Live got canceled it was a flop like Scripps The List both shows were largely on TEGNA & Scripps TV stations only a few outside the TV group carried it either show. I think a few Sinclair TV stations did sign onto DBL last fall I think Scripps did a handful in 2018 and lot of them dropped it after a year I know in Lansing was on Fox47 in the late-night hour sister station aired it in the afternoons 2018-19 I didn't see it after that season online TV guide. Will be interesting what WZZM will be doing in the fall at 7:30PM or if they start a 7PM newscast to compete with Wood TV and move ET to 7:30PM but ET has been on at 7PM on WZZM since 94. Which I couldn't watch ET for 2 years as the cable company I had in the first house I ever lived in didn't have WZZM when I got Cablevision again in 96 they had WZZM so got to see ET again, even know I didn't watch it all that much.
  22. I think in Denver Perry Sook doesn't want to work with the union and there was a protest at KDVR/KWGN. I don't think in West Michigan there is a union for the Wood TV, WZZM, WXMI, WWMT I'm not sure on that.
  23. The French Open needs NBC more than NBC needs The French Open, but the major tennis tourneys The French Open, Wimbledon, & US Open need to be on broadcast the Wimbledon finals are tape delayed on ABC for 3PM Sat & Sun after ESPN has aired them live, and now do air some live action to close out the first week of Wimbledon on Sat what NBC use to do when they aired it. They even did that for the US Open on a Sun afternoon last year on ABC I didn't watch it thou I was watching college football plus ESPN went dark for 10 days so missed most of the US Open. Yeah, just TNT trying to keep some sports rights on the channel is all. The French Open was right to get rid of Tennis Channel as right holders was kinda surprised that NBC didn't try to get The French Open for USA or Peacock when they renewed contracts for the rights years ago.
  24. I wonder if Shari Redstone will say yes to the Skydance deal which will selloff CBS & Viacom cable networks as all that Skydance wanted was the Paramount studios only.
  25. Looks like The Jerry Springer Show repeats are ending in syndication come Sep.
