I remember seeing her with group of guests in an infomercial a few years ago. I believe at one time she actually was back on GDNY doing reports from Florida. Yeah, it was a shame to see him go from Chief Meteorolgist at the CBS flagship station to morning meteorologist at KRON in San Francisco. He could have really made a name for himself in New York. Also, does anybody remember David Rogers? He was at CBS 2 from 2000 to 2003 first at the weeknight meteorologist and then as the morning meteorologist. He was arrested in 2003 after hitting 2 construction workers in Cleveland and was charged with aggravated vehicular assault. Now, he is working at WVIR-TV in Charlottesville Virginia as the morning meteorologist. They've got a ton of toys for their staff and treat their staff to benefits not typically found at small markets. If I'm not mistaken it has a fair share of ENG and even sat trucks since the station does cover DC news. KRON is also not a horrible fall. San Fran is market #6 and KRON is a respectable station. It could have been much worse for him. After all if anyone leaves New York they are going to take a hit, marketwise, since NY is #1. Let's not forget there is a lot of talk about KRON being sold to NBC, FOX or CBS.
