There are stations that have husband/wife anchor teams

1) WCCO Minneapolis/St. Paul (CBS O&O) has Amelia Santaniello co-anchoring with her husband Frank Vascellaro

2) WXYZ Channel 7 (ABC) Detroit - Shay Ryan (weather) and husband Glenn Zimmermann (news)

3) KKTV Channel 11 (CBS) Colorado Springs, CO - Wayne and Sylvia Jennings, former morning and noon anchors - now selling real estate.

4) KCRA Channel 3 (NBC) Sacremento, CA - Lois Hart and husband Dave Walker - news at 5, 6 and 11pm

In Hawaii:

KITV's Pamela Young and Gary Sprinkle anchor the news together weekdays at 5PM and 6PM.

KGMB anchor Kim Gennaula and weather guy Guy Hagi are on-air together at 10PM weeknights (Kim used to anchor at 5PM, 6PM, and 10PM but has cut back her hours since she's started a new job at a local hospital-- she's currently working both the hospital job and at KGMB, but will be leaving the station in November)

KNTV's Brent Cannon and Laura Garcia Cannon anchor the weekday morning news.

In the past, Jay Levine of WBBM and his wife Mary Ann Childers, former WBBM anchor, anchored the news together. (such as the morning news in 1999)

How about this one?

In Syracuse, longtime anchors Christie Casciano and Dan Cummings are paired together on the morning news at WSYR-TV. The pairing just happened a few weeks ago.

They are EX-spouses of probably 20 years.

That reminded me, TVNT should have it's yearly crash soon... ;)

Oh go to hell.

:awesome:

I shall add KDKA's Kristine Sorenson, primary anchor, and Marty Griffin, "Investigator"-slash-General Assignment reporter. He's a tigger.

WKYC (NBC/Cleveland)

  • [Though not reporting together...] Betsy Kling (weeknight meteorologist) and Paul Thomas (reporter).
  • John Anderson (morning co-anchor) and Kristen Anderson (morning fill-in) - [this is before they moved to Philadelphia.]
