Also is KCRA still airing late news at 10pm like KOVR or move back to 11pm and how long they had the 10pm news?

KCRA's late news airs at 11PM.

 

Sacramento is one of those quirky markets where there is more competition at 10PM (KOVR, KTXL, KQCA) than at 11PM (KCRA and KXTV)

There used to be a clip circulating around with Dave Walker anchoring the news at KOVR in 1975.

 

Apparently, he anchored there before going to CNN and then KCRA.

Dave and Lois' last day is today. Best of luck to them.

 

 

As an aside, it seems today is a good day for TV anchor retirements. KGMB's Kim Gennaula is also leaving today after 15 years. Her 10PM replacement, Stacy Loe, has been at the station even longer!
