King of the Hill is going HD starting with tonights episode. This was also the first real episode of this season. The remaining episodes will also be done in HD and it looked pretty nice in HD. Animation can look good in HD. There was a time when there was a 4:3 HD episode of King of the hill and it did look pretty convincing.

Going HD just as the show's about to end. Go figure.

It's my understanding that KotH has plenty of episodes still remaining. It might finish up this season. It might have enough episodes for the summer season or the 2009-2010 fall season. So it will be in HD for a while longer. It looks great in HD.

King of the Hill is coming back in 2010 to finish up the last remaining episodes. There are still 6 episodes left in this amazing series. It's sad to see it gone but we'll move on. Incidentally Mike Judge's new show the Goode project has been canceled and will get a proper series finale.

Didn't see that one coming. :)

I didn't -- I mean, I can't believe it's getting an actual "series finale", as opposed to ABC just stopping aring the series, or the crew being told there will be no more paychecks coming their way...
