rjdickens 1 Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 ...I don't think this is the guy (unless he works really, really cheap).
who?cares 255 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Bangor is said way to much, and I don't think he did a very good job.. Also, what is the but? Did he mention that the news was for Bangor, and that the news station was located in Bangor, if so I didn't catch it.
PTVNews 196 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Look what they used to have: http://southernmedia-nmsa.com/audioplayer_main.php?media=opens,3583,0 http://southernmedia-nmsa.com/audioplayer_main.php?media=opens,3583,1
PTVNews 196 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Watch their newscast here: http://titancast.titantv.com/p/wvii/videos.aspx
alaskanews 122 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 More proof market size doesn't matter... I'm only 3 up from them and even though we have shitty graphics and music, our product is WAY better.
RGSJenkins 435 Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Their weather is outsourced to Accu-Weather crew with Jim Kosek as their nightly meteorologist. They produce local newscasts on the weeknights at 6 and 11 and at 10 on WFVX (FOX). Only the 6pm and the sports reports are done live. WABI (Bangor's news leader) makes fun of them with their 10pm newscast on their DT CW channel with "The area's only LIVE local 10PM newscast." By the way, that DTV commerical is really scary.
ProButtonPusher 230 Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I seriously think the male anchor was running prompter with his mouse..or advancing VOs..
Weeters 1969 Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 That open... It's sad when a TV station has worse opens than internet newscasts.
Visiting VO 0 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Well, considering that this little teapot of a TV station probably spends more for the GM's cup of Starbucks coffee each morning than they are willing to invest in hiring imaging talent, this should come as no surprise to anyone.
