KNBC Airs Car Chase Live

I was surprised they were not airing other news last night at 11 as they haven't done a car chase in years. In fact, not one station in Los Angeles aired any news other than this chase on the 10 or 11 PM news. KTLA stayed on an extra hour. Fox 11 switched to My 13 RIGHT at 11 PM (and picture was frozen on Seinfeld on my Time Warner system for a full hour...with audio of the chase). KCAL switched to CBS 2 right at 11 and then CBS 2 switched back to KCAL 9 right before the beginning of David Letterman (11:35 PM).
