TellyGenic 33 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 She hasn't seen a cucumber that size in YEARS!
Oliverolang 41 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Earlier this month, MSNBC's David Shuster and Tamron Hall did a report on the same story. Their reaction was pretty much the same.
ProButtonPusher 230 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Phallic. Also - that bump music is sooo 2 years ago!
TrfRptr 3 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Funny stuff, did anybody notice that the copy that Sue read was pretty much identical to what Hall read?
Evening Magazine 18 Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Sue Simmons is the craziest news anchor in the history of television. Groundhog impressions anyone?
socalnewsguy 11 Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 She probably hasn't gotten any good cucumber since the Reagan administration.
News24/7 3 Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Well, when Chuck tried too a while back on the air....
ColumbusNewsFan 217 Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 She probably hasn't gotten any good cucumber since the Reagan administration. Best quote of the day there, Vayne.
jestbiteme 13 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I'm pretty sure Sue is not into cucumbers..... I do believe that was the point... afterall, it's ALL ABOUT THE POINT. (Nate, we get that you work in television. So do a lot of people here. Stop acting so conceited.)
ProButtonPusher 230 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 (Nate, we get that you work in television. So do a lot of people here. Stop acting so conceited.) ?? I was just saying the music was old - it came out a while ago - how was that in any way conceited? I'm tired of everyone thinking I'm like that. I'm excited about what I do, and most of you have a problem with it, and think I gloat about it - I'm honestly not trying to. Well - you won't see me posting here anymore.
johnnyc 0 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Boring! It might have been funnier if Sue yelled, “WTF is that”? And then started fanning herself with the papers as she read the story.
Evening Magazine 18 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 how was that in any way conceited? It's not just this post. It's almost all of them. I'm tired of everyone thinking I'm like that. Well, if everyone thinks it, then there must be some truth to it.
username23 1 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Funny stuff, did anybody notice that the copy that Sue read was pretty much identical to what Hall read? It was NewsChannel copy, anchors or producers will just modify it to make it their own.
