They probably had many angry clients that didn't see their ads run during the show. Most stations are 1 fault away from total catastrophe, this one just happened to happen at a bad time... I can't imagine the phone calls - it's hard to explain a technical issue to someone screaming into their phone because they think your TV station broke their digital tuner...
Jess 1116 Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Yeah, I don't know if it was technical issues or not, but WPVI went with a cold open right after the end of LOST. ...WPVI never goes with a cold open unless somebody at the station died. (Although to be fair, 6 was apparently having so many issues this past weekend that they scrubbed one of the newscasts apparently) Edit: Reading these comments on facebook... man I wouldn't want to be working there right now. "Who is going to be fired for last night"? Ouch.
