bmasters1 413 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 When someone, especially from the Hearst stations, says that they're in the "Washington newsroom," what are the odds, would you say, that they're not actually in Washington, but in an offstage area dolled and painted up to look like Washington?
TSSZNews 1052 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Hearst still has a Washington bureau. Believe me. -T

channel2 982 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Tribune got rid of theirs when Sam Zell decided to shove them into the toilet. I find it funny that they had a bureau in Washington, yet there was no news operation on WBDC/WDCW. It would have flopped, anyway; a higher dial position and The WB/CW being less popular than Fox down on WTTG would not have helped them at all.
kjohnson 17 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 So what is Grant Rampy doing now? If it's Sinclair, it's in Hunt Valley, MD, not D.C.
