  1. I think a show with Joy (moderating), Candace, Sunny, Sara and Paula would be good. Getting rid of Whoopi should get rid of the drama and make the hosts more unified and getting rid of Raven and Michele just does us all a great favor. If Whoopi does resign, I imagine that maybe ABC will sign her to a one year contract and allow Whoopi to have her 10th and final season then.

  2. Why the double standard for conservatives? Have all the other cohosts said who they're supporting or leaning towards?

  3. Don't you mean WTVT? And yes, they are a giant. I still love WTVT to this day. But its hard to recognize the good people who have now left WTVT in the past year.

  4. At this point, here are the stations that haven't updated their websites yet in order of market size (excluding KMSB): 11Alive, KHOU, WTSP, NWCN (not sure if it'll get an update, but it probably will), KING 5, KENS, WWL, WLTX, WMAZ, and all of the LSB stations. UPDATE: All of TEGNA's stations, except for the LSB stations (they should really have them updated by May, rather than July), have updated their websites.

  5. Tom Doerr is no longer news director at WFLD...and it appears that he wasn't fired. He's moving back to his family in Florida. Even though the station's newscasts never got out of the basement under his watch, he at least helped bring some stability (both in ratings and personnel) back to a long-suffering newsroom. Best of luck to him. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/wfld-news-director-steps-down/164699

  6. I caught a show with Paula moderating and actually enjoyed her in that role. But I agree, if Whoopi goes it's Joy's job to lose. Also of note, Meredith will have more time on her hands come May and Elisabeth has more time as of two months ago, although I think both are under contract with their respective networks.

  7. As much as I love this concept, let's see what Weeters has to say. From the WLS set thread... That said, someone else's leaked concept tells me they've entertained offers. I'm excited to see what's in-store come March, May, September, November, or anywhere in-between.
