Here's a better idea: just relaunch The Now Cleveland as NewsChannel 5 at Four AND STOP KISSING UP TO SOCIAL MEDIA!

This is an interesting story. Somebody has to lined up at the FOX station, ready to go, because there is only one anchor opening on their website (two recently left). Whether or not it is Stephany, that remains to be seen. Ratings were down, significantly. According to a local blog, their 5 AM, 4PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, and 11 PM newscasts were down 25+%. There was an earlier post here where it cited their competitor, WAGA, showing their 11 PM down 47%.

KSHB did something similar. Spoiler alert: it didn't help. at all.

Or at least adopt same format that WXYZ already use....

Wooo!!! This was severely long over-due. I'm glad they're bringing this back in all honesty. I think once WMAQ moved to 11:00am and expanded to an hour, it was enough for WLS to convince itself for after the TV season to return back to 11:00am. And it seems like people do watch WCL, even though if I lived in Chicago, I wouldn't be one of those watching. Plus, a weird concept. Local news at 11:00am, Chew at Noon, WCL at 1:00pm, GH at 2:00pm. Local/network/local/network.

I was thinking the same thing. I use to be a big fan of Tamron but not too much as of lately. She's always giddy and grinning for no apparent reason at all. I still holding out hope HODA will become the anchor one day but I think Savannah is going to be there for years to come. The only announcement I'm waiting for is for Matt Lauer and Al Roker to finally step down and leave. They have worn out their welcome.

Color me surprised. I'd imagine Terrell and Judy will anchor, since Linda's cutting back and Rob reports at 10, though I guess Tanja could play a factor. We shall see.

That's what I hate about journalism now these days... they are kissing up to social media to make journalism more look like a complete joke.

There has been a crapload of instability at The View for years now. Plus, the way their scheduling the panelists is big clue that they're looking at making changes. They hired Michelle as a full-time panelist, yet now, you only see her once or twice a month. Coincidence? I think not. Apples to Oranges...sort of. ABC News hired George knowing full well he had/has history with the Clintons and maybe to a certain extent his left-leaning views. As far as the $75k donation...big mistake, but ABC took the appropriate action needed. I doubt ABC hired Paula because she was a conservative, born-again Christian. Not to mention that Paula touts as being the "journalist" of the panel that tries to provide an unbiased perspective to things, yet, it's very evident what/where her biases are. I'm not saying she should be taken off The View for that, however, if she wants to use the conservative, Christian card, then she should not be allowed to reference herself as the journalist of the panel.

Why does everyone always predict host changes? I could see Candace leaving and maybe Raven but do we have any proof or even any credible speculation? I would say Paula already fills the conservative chair so they wouldn't necessarily need to bring someone else in. I don't know why she's still allowed to host GMA since she's sold herself to political commentary
