  1. The Orlando shooting prompted a very personal response for one WXIA reporter: an essay in which he comes out.

  2. Since WNCN followed suit with WRAL and airs Y&TR at 4pm, I'd like to see them move Judge Mabalean from 9-10am, do an hourlong noon news to fully compete with WRAL and WTVD, air a Judge Judy episode at 1, before B&B at 1:30.

  5. Sad news to report on this Thursday. It is with a heavy heart and sadness to inform you that legendary news anchor Patrick Emroy has passed away of natural causes in his home in Florida. Emroy worked at KMOV-TV (Then known as KMOX-TV) in the 1970's before moving to KSD (Now KSDK) at the time. He was also main 5 & 10PM anchor at KDNL in the mid-late 90's. Emory worked in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, CNN and Tampa where he worked as morning anchor at WFTS (ABC). Patrick Emory was 73. TVNT would like to take this time to offer our prayers and condolences to the Emory family in this difficult time. http://www.kmov.com/story/32231494/former-kmov-news-anchor-patrick-emory-passes-away

  6. That was great. Sad to see him go, but he needs the retirement and he walks out on top.

  7. Lol of course she's leaving. She was half the reason their morning show was on the up and up. It's a far better gig for her though. But geez...Lindsey Anderson, her replacement, has only been out of school for three years? KSHB can do better than that.
