Bulls have a rare 8pm game on WGN tonight, so we'll be seeing the latest WGN newscast that we've seen in a while.

Now that would really stir the pot.

If I was Larry's agent I would send his resume to weedtv.com "Larry Blunt has the news at 4:20" I bet he could own the joint

Sad news out of Dothan, Alabama. Connor Vernon, a longtime meteorologist in the market has passed away. http://www.dothanfirst.com/news/wdhn-meteorologist-connor-vernon-passes-away/643898190 He worked at both WTVY and WDHN as their Chief Meteorologist, as well as WSFA in Montgomery, WTXL in Tallahassee and KTBC in Austin.

Looks like they're still not producing in house. That anchor and meteorologist are both based out of KETK in Tyler.

Unfortunately, most of the good classic Pittsburgh stuff on YouTube (mostly KDKA) was posted by one user, stiffkids2006, who was terminated due to multiple copyright strikes at some point in the last year. It's weird, because the vast majority of the videos on that channel were posted years ago, I remember watching videos from that channel in 2007. So I don't know why they got taken down now.

Satire alert...... I just found out that WTOK in Meridian is launching a 40 minute newscast beginning at 4:20 every weekday anchored by recently paroled Charlo Greene and.....Larry Blunt! OK.... That's it for me....you've been great!

Are you sure this is new? Besides the GFX, the video looks like it was recorded off a Betamax tape!

KWKT has a new open. I don't know if Nexstar actually went through with bringing the news department in-house but you will notice something different that I'm not going to say:

Me too! Now that I've visited Pittsburgh for the first time 2 years ago, we got a Primanti Bros restaurant in Dayton and my wife and I are avid watchers of the new NBC show "This Is Us" which is mostly set in Pittsburgh. I've gotten more focused on Pittsburgh news footage. I noticed a lot of the old 80s-90s KDKA Fort Pitt Tunnel opens with The News Image got taken down. As far as the others I think I saw a bunch of WTAE from that era. There is a 1980 WIIC full newscast from the night before the Steelers won Super Bowl XIV (NBC should have used it on Episode 5 of This Is Us) and a few newscasts from after they changed the call letters.

Wow. KOMO just lost their entire investigative unit. Looks like S!nclair is starting Clear Channel-esque bloodletting.
