  2. Yikes! Forget about moving in some time in the fall. At this point, WCAU would be lucky to move into their new home in time for the 2018 Winter Olympics.

  3. Did not realize that. However, considering how many people are cutting the cord and moving to OTT (over-the-top) services (like Sling TV, YouTube TV, PS Now and DirecTV Now), and the fact that now more people check local news on their mobile devices, the fact that those social media newscasts such as The Now were created might be to get viewers (especially younger people) back to watching local news on TV. The Now and other social media newscasts should have been done for as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog. They generate negative ratings.

  4. NBC is occupying the 12th, 13th and 14th floors of the building. It's certainly feasible that WCAU could move in this fall. The permits to fit out those areas have been active for nearly a year and the lower floors have been enclosed and worked on for quite a while now.

  5. Maybe, maybe not. It appears they're working on the floors they'll be occupying. I'm following the building construction closely and the most recent timeline I've seen is that an official topping off is scheduled for late this year (like November).
