  1. I don't think CBS would really want to revamp its morning show AGAIN. Would it? CBS This Morning has improved much since it has debuted. So much so, that I watched it recently and actually liked it a lot.

  2. Looks like WEWS (and the other Scripps stations) underwent a website revamp, so that could have been how Mark's bio disappeared (it's back now, but empty) I'm sure the Gibber is happy to see Don again... And some very famous bloopers came from Don on the weather wall... And maybe he'll make up with Dorothy Fuldheim over this.... Godspeed.

  3. That girl always seemed in a good mood. She will be missed on PIX.

  4. World Taekwando Grand Slam Series using a recreation of the previous OBS/Olympics graphics (London/Sochi). Honestly these look better than the original only because they're at least using a font other than Arial Narrow.

  5. I'll give Sinclair a pass for how they went out of their way to offer condolences for Chris Bradley. Remember, he was WSYX's chief before he went over to WBNS. Even better is how the entire market came together (including WCMH) to honor him and encourage others to support the fight against cancer. It's an issue that affects millions and anyone can be impacted by it. On the other hand, there is no excuse for what they did in Chattanooga. Bravo to their GM for leaving them. If she was subjected to a non-compete, it should be declared null and void and she should be free to work wherever she chooses when she is able to. There needs to be some kind of federal law to protect people from stuff like this. Since TV markets often cross state lines, it is an interstate matter that warrants federal protection. Sadly, under the current climate, it will probably never happen. Hopefully, Sinclair gets sued over this one....

  7. Seriously, don’t be a jerk. The guy was simply offering a nice gesture. 40 years at the same television station is nothing to scoff at. Just relax, say your congratulations, and move on. Or if you don’t like someone’s postings; you’re always free to scroll on or hit “ignore.” It doesn’t always require a response. Like him or not, he does a lot of great work for the site in an unofficial capacity. As does Roly with his changingnewscasts blog that you’ve criticized many times. Point is, if you don’t like someone’s posts, just don’t read them. Aren’t you the same guy who shielded Mardek from (well-deserved) criticism, telling everyone just not to read his posts if we didn’t like them?

  8. Just. Stop. We don't need this type of junk on TVNT. We don't need you to say that we're capable for speaking on our own, he was just doing a nice gesture on behalf of all of us that we're grateful for because he does a lot of work for this forum in an unofficial fashion. Stop your shick or leave. You don't have to do either but you're becoming really annoying now.

  10. KDKA-TV chief meteorologist Jeff Verszyla just tweeted that he was let go from the station after 23 years.
