  1. WIS didn't have a 6:00 newscast until the Gulf War, I believe, when they started "6:00 Carolina". Can't say I've heard this exact cut of Tuesday WWL before:

  4. The open seems to have inspired TVQ-10 in Brisbane, Australia (back when they were on Channel 0) to make GFX of a background behind their "Eyewitness News" lettering back in the early 80s

  8. A government show that was on for many years at WTVQ. This is from 1995. I was always fansticated by this set, the colors, always love the farm shot in the background with the white fence.

  10. I noticed NBC CT started a weekly kids show? Any other NBC O&O doing this? Seems like a great idea during this time and looks very well done, 2 episodes are on their YouTube page, the guide says it airs Fridays at 11:30.

  11. If you go to https://www.youtube.com/user/davelexky, you can check out some rare WDBJ and WTVQ videos. And while you are there, you can check out some news stories and newscasts posted by former WTVQ and WDBJ anchor Dave Winters dated 1979 through 1981. And let me tell you, you are in for some good stuff.
