  1. In much happier but relevant news, WTNH has hired Dennis House as their chief political anchor and as a fill-in anchor as of January 11th. WTNH also will be launching a second Sunday morning political show hosted by House to go along with their longtime Capitol Report. This is a good move for both sides and only helps WTNH in the northern half of Connecticut where the battle for second place is a three station race. The transplanted CT folk getting paywalled out of WTNH's stream is going to be egg on their face though.

  2. Nope. And with Hal Brown now in jail for fraud, I'd have to find someone else willing to talk about VTS to get any more insider info related to them. (Not sure if Brad Kelley was still there at that point, I believe Earl Grizzell left in 1990?)

  3. KMGH didn't move frequencies. KMGH's main signal is still on RF 7. And of course their translator KZCO-LD (RF 30). But since Scripps bought KCDO & KSBS, they have added the 7.1 feed on KCDO (RF 23) & KSBS-CD (RF 19). But staying on topic, it appears that KWGN (RF 34) is the ATSC 3 test station carrying KWGN, KDVR, KMGH & KUSA main feeds. This explains why the ATSC 1 feed of KWGN is now on RF 36 (KDVR's RF ch.)

  4. I feel as if we are the only country following this trend though...compare our graphics to those in a country like England or Australia. Even TSN and Sportsnet in Canada have relatively smaller graphics to some of those here in the U.S.
