Well, that was fast. Good for them. If memory serves me correctly from last time around, Tom Llamas and Cecilia Vega were initially chosen to split the weekend until Vega was promoted to the White House beat and Llamas took over both days.4 points

Best of luck to both of them. The Deadline article also mentions that: Linsey Davis will continue to anchor ABC News Live Prime Monday-Thursday; Fridays will have rotating anchors. Whit Johnson will continue to co-anchor GMA Weekend (similar to how Lester Holt did both Weekend Today and Weekend Nightly News).2 points

Tom Koch is an institution in Houston morning tv, he’s literally been there forever. I don’t live there anymore but born and raised in Houston and that is a huge loss for the station / city!2 points

The Ion subchannels are all in widescreen now. Figures they wait until now, when the subchannel networks are about to be replaced by the Katz stuff at the end of the month.2 points

Interesting, as WDVM also has a Transmitter change in work that will finally provide a signal into metro DC itself - I live on the top of a hill, with an antenna in my attic and am looking forward to finally (re)getting WDVM, now that I’ve dropped cable... J1 point
