  1. Not exactly CTM-related here but CBS also had the best ratings of the broadcast networks in all key demos & total viewers for cumulative impeachment coverage, even if election coverage was soft. Not saying CBS is all of a sudden going to be the king of the hill now, but despite how messy it is behind the scenes/in corporate, there is definitely still untapped potential here for the network.

  2. This time it’s no joke...CTM tops Today on the morning after the Super Bowl.

  3. I don't think it's a demotion; it's probably a promotion. He retains a significant title as chief domestic correspondent, and is given a show to anchor. He was a WH correspondent for eight years and Chief for three. It's not a job people hold (or want) forever, especially as they get older. It involves long hours and lots of travel. Now, he gets to do a lot of his work while sitting behind a desk.

  4. WOIO seems to be in the ratings basement. Outside of CBS lead-ins, they are dead last. Overall, they are doing horribly. WJW is tops and WEWS is doing well and much better than before. WKYC keeps dropping as a lot of people are not responding to its current approach.

  6. Her death was so unexpected and sad, I loved seeing her on TV, always serious never got to see her serious side all the time. However she was great you could see in WNBC-TV anchors them trying to hold back tears while going on with the news they wish they've could devote the whole day on it you could just tell. but of course and the other news stores gong on you could wish the world would pause but that's the way it is. Rest In Peace Kat...

  7. This is very sad. Larry was popular for years and was CNN's biggest star for a long time. He's been through so many health issues for a few years now, including COVID, that I'm not surprised. I wonder if CNN will do a tribute tonight. R.I.P. Larry.

  8. CBS could buy any of the other stations in Cleveland. Nexstar wouldn't give up WJW and neither would Scripps with WEWS. Maybe Tegna might surrender WKYC. Then there's WBNX. Not to mention WVPX and WDLI. The last thing WOIO needs though is another affiliate switch. It was a rough go the first time in 1994. Not sure they would want to repeat it again.
