  2. I already see that Sandra Mitchell is filling in as anchor for the 10 pm news. Nice to see her behind the desk again.

  3. Is WDTV pining to be an ABC affiliate? It's still better than the WEWS logo.

  4. A WGN sports show on Sundays has been missed since they phased out Instant Replay, but still very disappointed to see Chicago's Best go. No way they couldn't have found a better time slot. That said, hopefully some of that content will have a home on the new 10am show, or even on other newscasts. As the restaurant industry picks back up, the list of those covering it and giving a voice to those businesses has been decimated this year.

  5. Watching the news at noon right now and both anchors are at the desk back to “pre-pandemic” sitting. I believe this is the first time the noon news is in the main studio since the pandemic began. That leaves I believe only WABC with anchors social distancing.

  6. Breaking The Stigma: CBS2’s Cindy Hsu Shares Her Most Personal Story With Dana Tyler – CBS New York (cbslocal.com) Did anyone get a chance to see this story? Very powerful stuff. Thank you for sharing your story and bringing awareness to the issue of depression, which no doubt, everyone at some point has experienced themselves to a varying degree. Wishing Cindy all the best!

  7. Maybe this is better for another thread although it could be a sign of what’s to come?

  8. Do you think it is possible that Sam Champion is human just like us and might have a variety of reasons why he could not or did not want to be available to work on his scheduled day off? We have had storms classified as tropical storms hit the area before — twice last summer — and storms hit that have done far worse. There has been much talk of how early in the season Elsa is for a hurricane/tropical storm, yet, just last year we had a tropical storm affect NYC on July 10. While it was a news event that warranted additional coverage and some special reports, there was nothing unique or extraordinary about it that warranted a mandatory all hands on deck.
