1. Can we rename this thread? 2. Do we think Chris Licht and Discovery will unveil new graphics for CNN sometime soon? The current package has been around since August 2014 (Jeff Zucker took over January 2013), with the only real change being the font in April 2016 (and maybe some of the gradients?). I think it works but I would like to see something a little smaller, and where the main banner text doesn't have to keep getting squished to fit.

A better question: 3. When do we think they'll blow up HLN and turn it into something that isn't 79% true crime shows?

Well, that didn't last long. Fox Weather seems to have killed off the smooth jazz automated weather maps after just one week. Starting tonight, America's Weather Tonight is now a 30-minute show, rerunning continuously throughout the 10pm-1am ET timeslots. With this change, Ian Oliver and Brigit Mahoney now co-host the show instead of alternating nights solo-hosting it. Well, I mean, I guess you could say "days" solo-hosting it, as based on the Fox Weather Alert System behind the hosts, this was recorded around 3:47pm, shortly before Ian and Brigit start their actual live Across America show at 4pm ET. (Please forgive the awkward face Ian is making in this screencap. The first screencap I took had their eyes closed, so I went for a second one and got this. By the time I tried to take a 3rd screencap, they were already off the screen.)

Well, earlier this year it was announced that they renewed Forensic Files II for two more seasons, so it looks like we might be stuck with HLN's current formula for 2 more years.

It seems like WCBS is listening to us lol Dick and Dana (same with Alice) always made a great team so this is exciting! Also definitely makes room for a possible expansion to 4pm in the near future....
