  1. Looks like even today on Sunday afternoon as Hilary has made landfall, Fox Weather went into "prerecorded loop" weather programming with no live radar, no live warning info, etc. Looks to me that just like yesterday, they're only planning to do live updates about every 3 hours when a new advisory is released. I feel like we're witnessing the downfall of Fox Weather. If they can't even stay live for a once-in-a-lifetime weather event, just because it happened to occur on a weekend, they're toast.

  2. Gray’s KOSA in Midland/Odessa has been using this First Alert News branding for a bit now. They are the. No. 1 station so not really clear why they felt it necessary to rebrand. It’s super clunky and cheesy. Leave it for weather, not for news.

  3. New set debuted for NBC's EPL coverage this weekend. Pretty sure that's the last of the original NBCSN studios to be replaced.

  4. ABC wanted schedule synergy among the east coast and central time zone stations. Kelly & Mark @ 9:00, local news @ 10:00, The View @ 11:00/10:00 Central, Local News @ Noon/11:00 Central, GMA3 @ 1:00/Noon central, Tamron Hall @ 2:00/1:00 central, and GH @ 3:00/2:00 central.

  5. I don’t know that I agree with this. Maybe you’re not from New York? But that’s a day that literally happened in our own backyard. It was a day that almost everyone.. if not everyone.. was affected and likely knew someone that died. Do I think the reading of the names will continue forever? No. But as long as it does I do feel the local NY stations will carry it. It’s not like it used to be before the 10 year where there was coverage from early morning to late night with replays of the day of the event, but I don’t think it’ll just stop cold on the main channels.

  6. I could maybe see it for a weather segment (yeah I know, CBS O/O's and Gray), but not the name of a whole newscast.

  7. First look at CNN's new severe weather bar. I'm guessing the same shape will be used for election results but it seems incredibly large for the little bit of information it's being used for right now. I'm also not a fan of the way things don't line up nicely in all situations.

  9. Consultants strike again. Do we have a vomit emoji reaction on here?

  10. True but I wouldn't cover the whole ceremony, maybe cut it in for every ceremonial bell. But I think the reading of the names is insane and lost of ad revenue.
