  1. They should have gotten a new logo while they were at it. But this is typical Nexstar....

  2. Agreed. A majority of people going to Times Square are NOT going to see the Good Morning America studio and a majority don’t even realize that’s where Good Morning America is. WABC is also not an attraction in Lincoln Square. Lincoln Center is the main attraction. The street side WABC studio is kind of cool walk by for some, most others don’t even care or know that it exists there. I’m sure the local residents and business owners will miss seeing the staff from ABC and WABC each day, but that’s about it.

  5. Because if I already can’t trust Sinclair to do the news, I can sure as hell trust them with grandma.

  6. I wouldn’t say that. Times Square is a destination in and of itself, and Lincoln Square is home to both the Juilliard School and Lincoln Center. It sucks that those areas are both losing a longtime presence, but it also makes sense for Disney/ABC to have all their NY operations under one roof.

  8. Chopper 2 (and its pilot) got a bird smash through the cockpit this morning in Kenosha. Thankfully superficial injuries to the pilot and they were able to land safely near the state line.

  9. FTVLive is talking about a Scripps station in Florida that is no longer doing a live late newscast...could this be WTXL in Tallahassee? If that's the case, the news vacuum continues in a place where Sinclair gave up 20 years ago as well, in a state capitol controlled by a wannabe dictator governor who's only in it for his own ego and political career.

  10. https://www.tvpassport.com/tv-listings/stations/cbs-wwj-detroit-mi/128/2023-09-11 Starting September 11th, CBS News Detroit at 9 am moves to a full hour and a rerun of CBS News Detroit at 11 pm replaces Entertainment Tonight at 1:37 am. Looks like Family Feud will be the only syndicated program left on WWJ.
