  1. I'm looking at it this way: This is still "unchartered territory", regardless if it's Nexstar or Gray or whoever... Is this the wave of the future? Maybe. With everything going to a subscription based services platform, this may be a winner. We need to let them find their footing, adjust to viewer feedback, and go accordingly. I do agree, this will not be a win in every market. For the duopolies, this would make more sense. Why have 2 huge sets, 2 sets of anchors/reporters, etc... I'm still very leery of this kind of product, but I'm taking notes and keeping an open mind on the whole thing.
  2. It's official. Milwaukee's "Worst Kept Secret" has been revealed. Ousted WISN Meteorologist Lindsey Slater officially joined TMJ4. She will be on 4-6pm with Chief Met. Brian Niznansky during the week and aid with severe weather coverage.
  3. Wait a minute -- didn't Karen Hensel work for WISH and got pushed out by Circle City??
  4. KAKE uses the First Alert moniker
  5. WZZM Chief Meteorologist Samantha Jacques announced on FB she is leaving the station. She's been Chief barely a year. According to AM Anchor Tanner Hollbrook Friday is her last day.
  6. Yes they had some great packages -- but they were beginning to get stale. Got real tired of the 3D logos and the weather gfx especially were chintzy. When they switched fonts from Gotham to Roboto, it got dated real fast.
  7. I totally agree.. I knew this was happening behind scenes (I'm good friends with one of the mets) but this totally unimpressed me.
  8. After a couple of decades of custom in-house graphics, WOOD has now adopted the new Nexstar MOD-03 graphics! Stream and VO still the same.
  9. It's a goner... Photo from Chief Met. Jordan Ambrose
  10. Because many of the stations are the "Neighborhood Reporter" format and they are constantly displaying their pictures and names before each story, so that would be overkill.
  11. I've been to WZZM's studios... WOOD has em beat by a mile... The only good thing is that WZZM is literally right next to I-96 for easy access while WOOD is on College Ave aways from any highway access...
  12. Now that Gray has officially absorbed WSYM into it's WILX portfolio, they announced that they will be expanding its broadcast studios with a groundbreaking on June 15.
  13. I am curious though... Sinclair is desperately overdue for a group-wide graphics refresh... Wonder if this is just an isolated case or are we about to see a new package soon??
  14. WXMI has switched as of this evening
  15. Well then most of this site is at fault then, because there's multiple threads that "violate" various "rules"... Instead of airing your dirty laundry here, how about DM-ing a mod?
  16. So our good friend Mr. Jones is reporting the WKMG got rid of 13 Reporters/MMJ's (I'm not a patron, so I can't read the story )... This seems a bit far fetched IMO... I think they pulled a Scripps and renamed them "Community Correspondants"
  17. Freaking irritates me to no end to STILL have elements of the Meredith package in there... Either launch the entire thing or wait until the previous pacakge elements are deleted..
  18. Most of the stations dropped the weather icon from the time/temp part of the bug and the constant switch betweent the news/channel logo and "Stream Now" QR code
  19. Same can be implied with CBS Colorado and CBS Minnesota
  20. Not to mention that since Phoenix is in the Top 15 market wise, I would've thought it would've followed WANF sooner rather than later... Unless they have something up their sleeves that we don't know about...
  21. WRTV has a new logo (basically WISH's spinning logo, but with a blue 6)
  22. I looked at serveral WRTV Facebook/X profiles and those that posted said it was their last day... Disgusting
  23. I will say -- they are rolling this out pretty decently.. .Unlike Scripps
  24. This is what they looked for on Temu
