  3. Basically, the entire NewsNation network is this way. Get fired/quit from a major network (even for cause) and end up on NN because you're a recognizable name that could get them a viewer (or two). It's basically an added value on the whole game Perry Sook invented by shaking down cable companies for money. The stations suffer while the saved pennies all go towards NewsNation.

  9. This is not a local TV passing, I get that. But this shows how poignant and amazing and genuine this program is. Unfortunately, Inside the NBA had to mourn the loss of one of its stagehands, Kevin Thomas, who was with the program for 30 years and was featured on the show in a number of skits. He was 70. This was genuine to watch and it was saddening and emotional to see this.
