Honestly there shouldn't even be any tape to these shows at all and that they have taped interviews now has denigrated the Sunday morning format because they all used to be all-live for years. Either these politicians get up on Sunday morning to make their case (and so many do), or don't bother. No government official in any party should get to make the determination they only tape interviews on weekdays and have any veto power and Kristi should've had to be ready to defend herself on Sunday morning.

nothing stopping the NFL from doing a game on Sat this weekend, other than over 100 college FB games that in some places will get more interest than the NFL

Remember, the law says "after the 2nd Friday in September" so they could do nothing about it. I think if the NFL ever goes to an 18 game schedules, i could see them doing Friday/Saturday games before the 2nd Friday in September and then giving each network a doubleheader (one on Saturday, the other on Sunday) after the 2nd Saturday in December. That way, one network isn't disadvantaged.

didn't hear any outrage in KC or Socal about the game going against HS FB games in those areas, but those places don't have a TX level obsession with HSFB
