The Bucks have a new home....somewhat the same as the old one pre-MSN/FSN/Bally/FanDuel. Every broadcast will be on WVTV's My 24 subchannel (the former WCGV), with a local streaming service TBA, along with a new state network, and the package starts with the team's Summer League action this Sunday. As with the Brewers deal for games on WITI and a state network, Good Karma and WTMJ radio will run affiliate relations and sell advertising during the broadcasts.

Things things are done by research. It’s not just a reaction to the dog of the market doing new weather branding. 7 doesn’t even consider 2/9 as competition. 7’s numbers quadruple 2’s on a bad day. 7’s consultants/research obviously showed the need for this. That’s why it’s been done. Simple.

I get your point but a news leader is supposed to lead and be innovative, not follow others, but sometimes you have to look at what the competition is doing and sometimes they lead in things that the undisputed news leader in Southern California hasn’t fully catched on with. I don’t fully agree with the decision making of KABC in this case but I understand why they are doing it, and that is the bottom line.

There's no reason it can't be for both reasons.
