Any word on the premiere date?
-
WXLV's 6:30am, 6 & 11pm news are off the air because of low ratings after seven years. 'XLV now airs Family Feud at 6pm and DailyMail TV at 11pm.

One question. How come WTLK (Now WPXA) didn't get involved with the affiliation change in Atlanta?

25 Years Ago Today...

As a fan of country music, I'm excited to hear that Circle is coming to my neck of the woods (Dallas/Ft. Worth). I can predict that Circle will either be on KTVT 11.4 or KTXA 21.4.

Well, hard to believe it's been 25 years since the big network affiliation switch that took place on September 3rd to December 1994. September 3, 1994... Cleveland: WJW (CBS to FOX), WOIO (Fox to CBS) September 12, 1994... Phoenix: KPHO (Ind to CBS), KSAZ (CBS to Ind) Kansas City: WDAF (NBC to FOX), KSHB (Fox to NBC) December 11, 1994.... Detroit: WJBK (CBS to FOX), WKBD (FOX to Ind to UPN), and WGPR now WWJ (Ind to CBS). Tampa: WTSP (ABC to CBS), WTVT (CBS to FOX) and WFTS (FOX to ABC). Atlanta: WAGA (CBS to FOX), WATL (FOX to Ind to WB), and WGNX now WGCL (Ind to CBS). December 15, 1994... Phoenix: KTVK (ABC to Ind), KSAZ (Ind to FOX), KNXV (Fox to ABC) I could be wrong on the date in Phoenix's part of the affiliation change.

With RNN National acquiring 8 NRJ stations, this mean KFWD would drop SonLife and go back on being a independent station?

Hartford, CT... Southern New England... WFSB-TV... and Channel 3 Eyewitness News will never be the same without Denise D'Ascenzo. Thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to her family and to Denise's extended family at Channel 3 Eyewitness News. Denise contributions and dedication throughout the Hardford and Southern New England area were prospectively and respectfully great. And I know many of her fans and loyal viewers are sad, heartbroken and devastated of her unexpected death... she'll emotionally will be missed. Rest in Peace, Denise... God bless you, and Godspeed.

Skip to 40:53. I've heard that theme from CBS in 1994. Can someone identify the theme? Skip to 3:15

It's now been a very sad weekend with the loss of two good news and sports legends; WNYT's Ed Dague and WHTM's Gregg Mace. They'll forever be called dedicated and trustworthy broadcasters in their own prime. Mace was Central Pennsylvania's popular sports director/anchor/reporter when it comes to Central PA's sports of all sorts for over 40 years. And Dague is the Capital Region's most trusted news anchor and reporter. From the halls of justice to everyday people in Albany, NY, breaking news, good news; Dague made a true difference in his 50+ years in to journalism. They'll never be another Gregg Mace and Ed Dague... They're forever and always legends in their prime. Mace and Dague are Central PA and Capital Region institutions, and they'll never be forgotten. Thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with the families of Ed Dague and Gregg Mace. RIP, Gregg and Edward... and Godspeed.

For anybody in the DFW area know that Newsradio 1080 KRLD/105.3FM The Fan no longer carrying the NFL on Westwood One (MNF, TNF, SNF, and NFL Postseason/SuperBowl), except Sports USA which carries the NFL only for KRLD-FM as well as all Dallas Cowboys games. Well, I've found out that all the NFL games on Westwood One are now on KESN-FM (ESPN Dallas 103.3FM). https://radiofacts.com/espn-radio-dallas-kesn-fm-103-3-becomes-official-radio-broadcast-home-of-the-nfl-in-dallas-fort-worth-with-the-addition-of-westwood-ones-prime-time-nfl-package/

TEGNA Broadcasting and Digital General Discussion
TexasTVNews replied to ABC 7 Denver's topic in Corporate Chat
I can top that. W*USA needs to drop WUSA9 News all together and bring back "Eyewitness News" or at least naming it (WUSA) 9 Eyewitness News or CBS 9 Eyewitness News. It's just M2C (My 2 Cents).- 3684 replies

Fox Television Stations - General Thread

https://www.ftvlive.com/sqsp-test/2019/11/7/sources-fox-and-nexstar-are-not-done-yet Fox is looking to acquire more Fox stations from Nexstar? -
You have. WFMJ used that theme as well.
-
As always, CBS programming moves to KTXA (CBS 11's Sister Station) because of severe weather coverage so that they won't miss their favorite shows.
-
If Norah gets the boot, who do you think should anchor the CBS Evening News? IMO, I would pick... Shepard Smith.
-
We got severe weather in DFW and KDFW, KXAS & KTVT working overtime because of the severe weather coverage. WFAA finished their coverage and Delkus was a no show.

FOX 4 (KDFW) has found its new weekend anchor. It's reporter Blake Hanson. He's been a reporter at the FOX station since 2017. Hanson will take over the weekend newscast for longtime anchor Richard Ray who retired this past May. He'll anchor the 5pm (During next year's MLB season), 6 & 9pm solo on Saturdays and 5 & 9pm with co-anchor Natalie Solis on Sundays.
