  4. I forgot to mention with KFMB AM/FM in Tegna's pocket, they'll already expanding the radio business. I remember Gannett used to own radio stations when they acquired Combined Communications.
  5. I've told you they'll be the bait when Dispatch caved. First, I'm shocked that Tegna is buying 'BNS & 'THR. Second, at least WTOL/Toledo will have a sister station soon.

  9. Auburn Tigers Football will never be the same for this coming college football season. Rod Bramblett the voice of the Auburn Tigers along with his wife, Paula passed away yesterday after sustaining injuries in a vehicle accident. Rod was 53 years old, and his wife, Paula was 52.   10. Carolyn Mungo has been promoted from executive news director at WFAA8 to vice president and station manager of the Dallas-based, TEGNA-owned station. She’ll continue to report to president and general manager Brad Ramsey, whose new duties will include spread-eagling himself as senior vice president overseeing TEGNA’s TV stations in Austin and San Antonio (KVUE and KENS respectively). In a memo, TEGNA executive vice president and chief operating officer Lynn Beall said that Mungo’s “efforts to innovate, experiment and build a deep and loyal connection with DFW audiences across platforms make her perfectly suited for this leadership role at WFAA.” https://unclebarky.com/dfw.html
