  1. The same Princell Hair that was news Director at Baltimore's WBAL.
  2. You left out Beaumont's KJAC and KBMT, that's where Gene Tuck used to another back then.
  3. I wished all CBS O&Os including WCBS would use SAM's (Stephen Arnold Music) CBS Local.
  4. As much as I dislike the branding, IMO WFOR should've been called CBS South Florida/CBS News South Florida.
  5. Oh, I knew that, and I don't like it.
  6. Sad news out of Detroit, former longtime WXYZ 7 Action News Sports Director Don Shane passed away at the age of 70. https://www.wxyz.com/sports/longtime-channel-7-sportscaster-don-shane-has-died
  7. Sad news out of Atlanta tonight. Dave Michaels, a longtime news anchor for 11Alive, CNN and other outlets died this month at 88 years old. His wife, Ann, contacted 11Alive on Friday and said he had passed away on Feb. 1 – after a long illness of Alzheimer's and congestive heart failure. He was at home in hospice care at the time he died. Michaels worked at WXIA from 1976 to 1985. https://www.11alive.com/article/news/community/dave-michaels-longtime-11alive-anchor-dies-88/85-fcb6b81f-8160-49f1-9a36-0fa3225721c9
  8. I'm hoping that NBC Sports buys Bally Sports and rebrands. It would be nice to see Bally Sports Southwest change to NBC Sports Southwest.
  9. According to TV Passport, KTVT still says CBS 11 News. https://www.tvpassport.com/tv-listings/stations/cbs-ktvt-fort-worth-tx/1660/2023-02-20
  10. It would be really nice to see Rangers baseball back on KDFI and KDFW (Should KDFW preempt daytime programming).
  11. Longtime FOX 13 (WHBQ) reporter Tom Dees passed away after a long illness. https://www.fox13memphis.com/news/local/fox13-mourns-loss-tom-dees/M4RIRJWTWJFJ7A47JV4QU7XIRY/
  12. When KYW dropped EWN in '91, they were NewsDay (Morning), NewsBeat (Noon, 6pm), and The News Tonight (11pm) from 91-94 and then they were KYW News 3 from 94-98 and 3 brought back EWN in '98 and it stuck.
  13. When you see intros like these, you will know that Baltimore and WJZ are just not the same without the late greats Jerry Turner and Al Sanders.
  14. Say hello to TND. Sinclair Media SUCKS!
  15. Amyre Sr. and Amyre Jr. - Like Mother, Like Daughter.
  16. And I still miss Steve, Jillian and Dorothy; especially on Good Day Live (Nationally Syndicated Show). IMO, I wish GDL was back.
  17. Sad news out of Birmingham. If you grew up watching WBRC-TV in the mornings, you remember Country Boy Eddie. Gordon Edward Burns "Country Boy Eddie" passed away yesterday at the age of 92. Burns hosted "Country Boy Eddie and Friends" from 1957 to his final show on New Year's Eve 1993. https://www.wbrc.com/video/2023/01/14/remembering-country-boy-eddie/ https://deadline.com/2023/01/country-boy-eddie-dead-alabama-tv-star-who-gave-dolly-parton-tammy-wynette-chance-was-92-obituary-1235221916/
  18. TJ and Amy will have their lawyers ready to sue ABC if they are fired.
  19. 24 years ago... 35 years ago...
  20. Next to Ron Magers and the late Warner Saunders; Rob Stafford is truly Chicago's best anchor at NBC 5.
  21. How about changing 19 News to (CBS) 19 Eyewitness News.
  22. I second that. But I give it a year and then they'll reverse it back to CBS Mandate.
  23. WEWS will still be (to me)... TV5 Eyewitness News and NewsChannel 5. Happy 75th Anniversary TV5.
  24. I don't like the changes on KCBS & KCAL not one bit. The expansion, I'm alright with it (if the ratings are good). But KCAL CBS News Los Angeles... NO WAY! I wish the CBS (Television) News & Stations leaves the names as it is like CBS 2 News and KCAL 9 News. I would be alright for CBS 2 Morning News and KCAL 9 Morning News as well.
  25. I have a hunch that Jordan will be the new Chief Meteorologist at 'JLA when Bill Kelly leaves for KYW.
