TEGNA Broadcasting and Digital General Discussion
TexasTVNews replied to ABC 7 Denver's topic in Corporate Chat
I'm more than 100% agree to that, and I'll drink to that. I said it before, Byron Allen is the only one he can clean up the mess Tegna made.- 3704 replies

CBS O&O graphics looks good. And if they haven't sold KUTV, WFRV, and KEYE-TV, they be getting the new graphics as well.

I have a good feeling about who it is. His career is getting tarnished.

CBS and FOX are going to pay tribute to John Madden on The NFL Today and FOX NFL Sunday this weekend.

I second the motion.

I wish Shep Smith move his show to MSNBC and take over BW's time slot.
-
We will see BW again... Coming soon in 2022... "The CBS Evening News with Brian Williams".
-
I still got money on BW replacing Norah on the CBS Evening News.

I miss Larry King Live. If CNN had a LKL type a show with newsmakers, celebs, and take phone calls like LK done over the years, they would've gotten out of the ratings slump. It's just my opinion

Changes are coming for two anchors in San Antonio and in Phoenix. KENS 5 Eyewitness News anchor Deborah Knapp is reducing her schedule and stepping away from the 10pm newscast. She'll continue to anchor the 5pm newscast. No word on who will succeed Deborah at 10pm or whether her co-anchor Aaron Wright will anchor solo at 10pm. And longtime ABC15 (KNXV) main anchor Steve Irvin will retire in '22 citing a recent health issue. https://www.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/media/2021/11/23/steve-irvin-longtime-news-anchor-abc-15-phoenix-leaving/8733475002/

WFSB's Bruce DePrest is hanging it up, he's retiring at the end of the year.
-
Where you suspect he'll end up at? IMO, I suspect BW will jump to CBS and if I play my cards right... He might just replace Norah on the CBS Evening News. It's just my opinion, folks.
-
IMO, FOX should've never sold its RSNs to Sinclair in the first place. I wouldn't mind if they would've sold it to Disney. We would've had ESPN: Name here (ESPN: Southwest) and regional versions of SportsCenter.

In the memory and tribute to Jovita Moore. RIP and Godspeed.
