Take a look at which states the stations are in. KUTV is in Utah, WKRC is in Ohio, KOMO is in Washington state, and WJLA is in DC. Utah and Ohio are red states. Washington isn't. DC definitely isn't.

Oh, you're talking about legislators. I was talking about voters.

You assume that people in this country are only conservative Republicans or liberal Democrats. What about people who are neither? Are they capable of watching Oliver even though they're not liberal Democrats?

I believe the main monologue segment is usually available on HBO's YouTube channel.

It's available on Roku via subscription.

Wow....the bezels on that 9-pack are thick.

What, no Maddow on Fridays?

For what little I watched of Greta's show on Fox over the years (an amount that can be measured in minutes), she seemed more like a local TV anchor reporter from a mid-sized market than anything.

#NexstarProducing is trending on Twitter. Anyone know what's going on?

Hugh Hewitt is getting a half-hour Saturday morning show. That article also references something I apparently missed when it happened: Lockup was canceled, its 25th season being its last.

So, how'd the stations rank before Sinclair bought Fisher and Tegna bought Belo?

Huh. I always figured KOMO was at least a strong 2nd, possibly even beating out KING in some time slots.

Is that why station groups tend to be sold en masse rather than piecemeal? To make it easier for the governmental agencies? That's really weird.

How can the paperwork be all that time-consuming? Do they have to do it entirely by hand and in triplicate?

So, you could say that Today's Taken Away? (Had to be said.)

Scripps already owns KJRH in Tulsa, so they wouldn't be able to buy KOTV. (And while they'd be able to buy WBNS, they wouldn't be able to outright purchase WTHR in Indianapolis since they currently own WRTV.)
-
I have never heard or read of this reasoning. Can you provide proof?

The FTVLive article has a good idea: Here's another idea: Have three or four reporters down there to split the work. But, then, we're talking about Nexstar here.
-
You could probably add Griffin (KOTV, KWTV, etc.) and Capital (WRAL) to that list.
-
At this point, the delay could be because of the transition the government's in right now.

At first glance, I thought that satellite dish was attached to the Jeep. Also, "Weather Wrangler" is much easier to say than "ABC2News Jeep Wrangler." Just saying.
