I just noticed that NMSA has WLS adopting Cool Hand Luke in 1969. Is that a mistake, or did WLS use Cool Hand Luke and From Russia With Love (heard in the clip above) simultaneously on different newscasts? Or -- this is the third possibility -- is the clip above not from 1971?

This must not have been long after WLS dropped Cool Hand Luke and adopted Gari's On Your Side in 1980 -- as far as I can tell, all other elements remained unchanged at the time:

I wonder why they had a special open for the rebroadcast, rather than just slapping a "Recorded Earlier" tag on the screen like most other stations.
