    WBNS's current look is only just 3 years old for them that is young. I think they DON'T want to not break the machine in Columbus. WBNS is a beast in the market but not so much lately with WSYX and WCMH gaining on them fast... If Claps and Boops come to Columbus it will be interesting to say the least with Nexstar might want to do some new graphics for WCMH soon... (RUMOR AND SPECULATION from That source I said earlier. but I discount it hard) and WSYX actually putting up a competent news operation in Columbus. WTHR would probably go before WBNS in a lot of things.

    The Dispatch stations will probably be last because word is they are dragging their feet on this for some reason but it will be in before Fall, before they will finally in my prediction.

    WCMH and WBNS has stories about on their websites. WSYX hasn't mentioned it at all.

    But get ready for the claps and boops, Central Ohio. Right now, NBC 4 is in the best shape it has been in years and with TENGA handling of stations... #1 station has never been as close as it is right now.

    I Called this three years ago when they first sold The Dispatch. I knew this was coming and THIS VERY COMPANY TOO! Here the thing if you are Sinclair or Nexstar this morning... Columbus has just become a WIDE OPEN MARKET where WCMH or WSYX could EASILY be #1 in the market!

    As much I don't care for Sinclair's politics and How it does business. Their Sports Coverage has been really well done and better then FOX has done of the last couple of years. Stadium is very serviceable as a brand and this now makes it better with local teams and brands as well. Maybe this will force Sinclair to actually invest in Sports Departments in general as connecting it with Stadium will now give them the reach to compete with ESPN. I know speculation and wishing, Sinclair and These RSN could be big deals if Sinclair does it right!

    I'm starting to think Nexstar just buys stations for the Mic Flags. Kinda of an expensive way to build a collection.

    I'm reading a lot they should move it after "Live!" but in Columbus and some other markets, It is not on a ABC station but Our CBS station WBNS.

    God so we have Kenneth The Page as the next man up at WBNS...Oh good god no! Guess what, WCMH... It looks likes there might be a NEW worst station and NEW icon for me coming soon!

    Currently 1:45am EDT Viacom stations are still on Spectrum Cable. Viacom is still running the crawl inform subscribers what is going on. Latest word is Talks are ongoing but could wake up to the largest Cable Blackout in American history.

    As someone who watched her on WBNS she is "meh" and not in a good way as a weatherperson maybe WBBH will be a better fit for her.

    I hate to do this because it runs into speculation but let's say ABC pulls "The View", Do they give that hour back to the affiliates or move it to 9am for a GMA extra hour?

    Well, I can't say I didn't nail one prediction in 2016. I said Duane Polman wasn't going to get the 6 and 11pm anchor spot at WCMH. I was right.     Columbus' Deal with Time Warner is up and to be honest it wasn't popular with the fans so Sinclair coming and offering a New TV contract might not be a bad thing for them to do.

    Major news out of Columbus tonight, Longtime WCMH Anchor, Cabot Rea has announced this evening that he'll be retiring from NBC 4 in December.

    I had the honor of watching him speak in person at the City of Columbus MLK Celebration this past January. Absolutely sad lost for all of us.
