Can someone PLEASE explain to me why the lighting in their studio is so bad? The "interview" area doesn't even look like it has lights its so dark.. The green screen isnt to great either..The desk isn't as bad but still pretty dark.. Its really annoying.. The only place with 1/2 way decent lighting is the newsroom area. As silly as it may sound I now watch FOX 5 at 5 and 6 now.. I've been watching Greg and Rosanna for a few years now and even tho their set is the oldest in the city I think it is the nicest.

They released a new ad for GDNY.. Showing the similar Channel 2&4 commercials and then showing clips of Greg and Rosanna with the voice over saying "We like to be original" it was kind of funny. lol Here it is: http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/news/good-day-ny-promo-20120228

This coming monday (Feb.20th) PIX will have a live studio audience for their morning news show.. I didn't even think that many people even watched that show lol

Finally News 12 Hudson Valley/ Westchester is LIVE on the top of every hour during the day (weekdays only) and now the evening news starts at 4:30pm (that only used to happen in Yonkers). Its really a good thing for them instead of showing the same exact thing over again.

They aired a promo Friday night saying that Ray Kelly would release a statement about the investigation into Greg.. hat never aired.. Many ppl watched for it and took to facebook to complain.. Anyone know what's up? Or was just this an attempt to get ratings?

I don't wanna start rumors but I think Mike Woods and Ines Rosales are dating.. They both just got back from being on vacation together.. This is the 2nd time.. And Rosanna kind of hinted at it yesterday.. It's kind of funny lol. They should make something out of it on the air.. Keep the viewers interested lol

Does anyone know if Ken Rosato is ok? He's been out for almost 2 weeks now.. I know he had kidney problems about a year or so ago.. Hopefully it's just a vacation.. Anyone know?

Was just going through the channel guide on my tv.. It showed eyewitness news at 11 on from 11-12.. I remember something being mentioned this in the past.. Is this the first week they're doing this or has it been going on for a while?

im just happy that they've updated the backdrops recently..the one they use from 4-7am is horrible..its the original morning one they used when they got that set..I have never seen the set in person but from what it seems FOX5 has a decent amount of room and can do a lot with it..and even though i like the "warmer" look with the wood and stuff are definitely due for an update.

I saw that this morning. I actually couldnt believe it at first. Have they ever done a 7 day forecast on WABC before?

Did anyone see Good Day New York this morning? It was ridiculous! They were doing a story about someones cel-phone going off during some orchestra performance..so Greg Kelly kept playing the ring tone off of his iPhone..Then sometime just after 8:30 they did the story again..Only this time when he played the ringtone Rosanna Scotto grabbed the phone out of his hand and threw it across the studio..Greg Kelly jumped up and they quickly went to break (the phone sounded like it hit the floor) But it didn't.. they came back a few mins later and Greg joked that the phone was phone was broken..but then said it only had a scratch..So Rosanna said "Are you kidding me!? You couldnt even tell with all the chicken wing jisim all over it!" Then they quickly went to traffic..Idk what they said to them but they must have been spoken to because they were both very calm and quiet during the 9:00 hour.

Has anyone seen the graphics PIX has for the election.. They are actually decent! Alot better then the regular ones.

I have heard them call her that in the past...Idk why..Maybe its cause shes the only anchor that has lasted during that part of the newscast?

I havent seen Toni Yates on the air in a while...has she been on? Also its been even longer since I've seen her out in the field..the last time I saw her was over thanksgiving when she was anchoring for Michelle Charlesworth.

During the Honeymooners marathon they've had each anchor from PIX11 news introduce themselves and saying to watch the PIX11 News.. Are they dying for viewers or are they just advertising themselves?
