Next week Good Day NY is broadcasting from the FOX sports building in Times Square for Super Bowl week.. Wonder if any of the other newscasts will be done from there.. Perfect time to build a new set lol.

I might be looking to much into it but it seems like they're testing everyone with each other sorta like what they did when David Novaro came back just before First at 4 debuted

I really wish they'd change the format of the morning show.. Especially that stupid ad going into the weather segment. They have a really good team in my opinion. And to be honest I think Marysol and Dan are even better then Suki and Kori and they should really bring Chris Knowles back he's great on there

I mean I think we're discussing something that isn't likely for at least a few years but I agree they'd probably bring it down to three teams. First of all I really don't think Diana would go back to the 11.. But I don't know.. You have to remember the New York news isn't the same on any channel anymore.. Most have new younger ppl coming in.. It's the start of a new generation here.. I don't see why David couldn't be the lead male anchor in the future because unless the other stations get someone else by then he's still the strongest.. But anyway why not this? By the way.. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm really not a fan of Ken Rosato.. I always hoped Phil Lipof would get the weekday morning but that obviously didn't/won't happen. I would really like to see David in the mornings.. Then rob Powers at 4

Does anyone know what happened to Matt Sampson from News12 Hudson Valley? He's no longer with the station. I was wondering if anyone knows what happened?

It seems to me that they have officially dropped the "7"(storm watch 7 etc..) branding and gone with "ALERT"(commuter alert, accuweather alert..) branding which seems over dramatic and unnecessary. Example: just now they did a Health ALERT and all the story was is how coffee can make you tired. I really don't think that's an "alert"

Did anyone see the news at 6:00 today? It was a diff format with Steve walking around the studio and very cool camera angles. I liked it a lot.. Not sure when they started this or if tonight was the first night but I hope they keep it up.. If anyone has screen shots please post

Those blue/yellow bars have been appearing on some of their promos and stuff.. Hopefully It's a sign of a new package atleast. Get rid of those purple/pinks and blues

I think their social media bug looks the best out of all the NYC stations.. Not great but better than the rest

Idk but they used to have the coolest camera shots/angels then they stopped for a while.. It seems they're bringing them back somewhat.. The past 2 nights they did the closing shot from a camera very low to the ground it was pretty cool.

I know people have said it before and I know it'll never be permenant but I really like Lori Stokes and Diana Williams anchoring together. I think they work really well and have good chemistry

The new newsroom set up is really nice. I like it alot. Is it possible that they did it in preparation to use it as a temp set if they redo their studio anytime soon? Or did they just do it cause it needed to be done?

I really like Maurice an Kristine but there's something about having only one anchor team in the evenings that I just don't like Idk what it is but whatever. I would like to see Dick Brennan and Alice Gainer do the 6 along with the 9 if Dana got moved

I know WABC doesn't like to mess with their teams and they are #1 in the morning spot but I really wish they would get rid of Ken Rosato and have the spot to Phil Lipof cause in my opinion he's is a thousand times better and seems to have better chemistry with Lori Stokes.
