Just a quick question.. Could someone compare Fios 1 to News12.. Just so I know before I switch?

On Friday Dan Manarino tweeted he's done with the evening shows and will be back on mornings in 2 weeks.. I wonder if he'll anchor in some sort again or just report.. It took John Muller about 2 weeks of rehearsal before going back on air.. Just a thought

Juliet isn't going anywhere. The ratings for that show are good. I like her. So do a lot of others. I don't think Taresa would go to PIX.. Eventually she'll either be promoted or move to one of the big 3. PIX has no stability I don't blame anyone if they turn them down

I don't live on long Island so I can't watch but I remember a few weeks ago someone from the station posting that they could finally wear blue because they were changing to green screen. So maybe just the weather set is being updated.

I don't hate her. She just has a very dry and dull personality. As an anchor she's not good. They have Christina Park anchoring weekends Kerry Drew and Taresa Priolo reporting who could be better than her in that spot. She seems like a nice person though!

Taresa Priolo is filling in for Dari tonight and doing a great job. They have a great selection of reporters to be anchors I don't understand why they don't use them more (replace Dari)

Watching right now it seems they've updated their morning backdrop slightly. It looks nice

I find it funny that Rosanna and Greg just referenced how much they need a new set. They were joking about the background being a window and Greg goes the new tower isn't even there that's how old it is.. Rosanna goes draw it in with a sharpie.. Then they both agreed how much they should get a new background lol

Idk about WNBC cause I normally don't watch them but if FOX knows what's good they'd put Christina Park or Sharon Crowley.. Maybe Juliet Huddy? on at 5. Do regular news at 6 with Ernie and Dari.

Just saw on Twitter that Matt Kozar anchored this morning.. I didn't watch so idk how he did. But I gotta say I really like how WCBS seems to give everyone a chance to anchor.. They don't use the same people all the time. All the reporters (especially the newer ones) get a chance at the desk.

I have a question. Does anyone know how the show at 6:00 is doing? Also what are they going to do when Ernie goes on vacation or takes off? Is someone going to do the show in the same format or will they do a newscast?

The 10:00 so far has a lot of movement.. They go from standing to the desk back to standing. They were just in the middle if the studio btwn 2 tvs discussing viral videos..they did weather multiple times.. And showed the 7 day during an earlier block! Plus a business report which was short but I like it. It kind of has a fresh feel. It's flowing well and john and Tamsen are great. It feels like am actual newcast again.Definetly could beat FOX5.

Well John Muller starts tonight and they're advertising the hell out of it on social media.. And Sukanya tweeted that Dan Manarino will be back very soon. And when someone asked if Dan would be doing mornings he replied "stay tuned"

They would make a great morning team and that's been proven.. I don't think they could compete with Greg and Rosanna tho. Almost no one could. I do think they will work great at night together. As I've said I almost feel bad for anyone on air at PIX. They all look bad and it's not their fault that the bosses are idiots. They had 2 weeks of rehearsal so i have a feeling they have a new format for the evening. Let's see how long this lasts. Probably not more than 6 or 7 months

In my opinion Scott wasn't the worst anchor ever. There's been worse and there's been better. However if he's gonna be doing sports they need to give him the title of sports director and let him do his thing. They can't limit him. He needs to be in control of the sports dept. NOT Andy Adler, she basically runs the morning show being on every 5 mins. Scott knows sports he should be the one to cover the big events and what's on air. It could work if that's followed.

Narmeen Choudury is pretty good. Tonight's newscasts weren't bad at all.

I think it's just Greg being Greg. They're making a big deal about nothing. If Anna wasn't comfortable she wouldn't have been at the pool with them the next day for they're special location thing. I can garuntee if it was Rosanna or any of the women saying stuff about one of the guys nothing would be even said. Like come on if it was a problem Greg would not be on the air the next day. I think it was all in fun. Could he have just not said anything? Sure. But I don't think he meant harm by it.

The video isn't up on the FOX website yet but maybe it will be later.. Anyway on the show media buzz they showed a clip of a station somewhere showing a storm doing a report on it.. Then showing Lonnie Quinn using the same EXACT video and script for his report.. They took the original voice out and put his reading it word for word.. It was kinda funny to see since this isn't the first time we've discussed WCBS copying another station.. But this time it was actually someone else's report.

Ernie and Dari sat the same way. I don't really like it idk why or what it is tho.

WABC just used a screen shot of a WCBS weather map in their opening teaser about the heat -___- .. I wasn't able to get a pic. but I'm sure someone on here was recording it or something maybe they can post it.
