Anyone else notice on the FOX5NY iphone app... Under the weather tab there's a subsection for Accuweather? Brings you to the mobile site while remaining in the app. Thought it was wierd since WABC emphasizes accuweather so much

When it comes to dress it all depends on the person.. Example here in NYC WPIX clearly has a very loose dress code.. Jill Nicolini used to be literally half naked sometimes and looked like she was going clubbing.. Whereas Lisa Mateo and Sukanya Krishnan dressed a more professional but still modern... I've never seen Rosanna Scotto wear a sleeveless dress on air at WNYW but other anchors like Dari Alexander or Traffic reporter Ines Rosales wear them all the time. When it comes to females the way they dress is very important to viewers. They are very critical and sometimes very harsh

Live with Kelly and Michael has to be on early that's first off.. Then here's an idea which I know most will say no to.. Move the local news from Noon to 11am.. Have the chew on at noon and then GAA at 1pm.. Especially if it's more of a lifestyle/talk show.. A good lead in for the soaps of people choose to stay after the other shows.. Just a thought.. In New York anyway the 3pm slot is against Ellen and Dr.Phil so unless they're very confident I dint think they'll put GAA or Chew at 3pm

I personally don't think Allison is the worst.. Could be better tho.. They have Taresa Priolo, Christina Park, Kerry Drew that they could/should use. However I think we'll see Kerry anchoring Good Day Wake Up until Juliet is back from her injury. Btw did anyone see Allison and Stacy Delikat anchoring together? How'd that go?

I know someone's gonna jump at me for this but anyone know what's up with Ken Rosato? Is he ok? It seems for a while now like every other week he's off the entire week or only works a few days.. Not sure if he has time to use or if something's wrong.

What they did tonight made no sense to me.. At 5 John Muller was in studio solo with Mr.G, as Tamsen and Scott were at the Barclays Center for the game and the royals.. Honestly they didn't both need to be there.. Then John was solo at 10:00 again. Saying Tamsen is off.. They should've given him a co anchor. It's an hour long show.. Needs two people

They're doing an 8pm newscast tonight cause of the Jets game.. I think it's a great idea.. Wonder if it's a test or something?

While I prefer WABC if I'm up earlier I do agree.. I find my self watching them more often.. I wish Juliet would fill in for Rosanna.. I feel she and Greg would get along... Maybe she goes and does other stuff at FNC or something?

Ben and Taresa would make a great 6pm team. I honestly don't see the format they have now lasting much longer unless sweeps results prove me wrong

Even though they're on at 6 together everyday I wish Bill and Liz would also anchor at 11.. I like Sade a lot but Bill and Liz are an awesome team.

I mentioned it about WABCs set.. But why doesn't WCBS use live shots for their backdrop? Today at 5 they had the sun setting and it was already dark out.. WNBC had a great shot of Rockerfeller Center.. WPIX had a live shot of the skyline.. Even WNYW had their night drop.. Idk why year after year Ch2 doesn't do the same

I know I've said this before but I'll say it again. I think they not only need new graphics or atleast an update.. But new background images for the set. The images they had when they first debuted the set were much nicer. I think a live image might be kind of distracting (depending on what they use).. But new still images definetly.

They've been using it for the news segments all weekend.. I THINK they used ESPN2 feed for most of the marathon itself

But they're just so smart they have Chris Knolwes who'd do great with that team out in the field reporting. Go figure

I just happened to be flipping channels before when WABC went on a commercial and turned to PIX for a quick second.. Mr.G was on. I've never seen anything so weird from an on air person. His jacket was in buttoned.. His tie was tucked into the front of his pants and he was holding the clip on mic. I don't know what happened or if he didn't realize it was time to go on but it was very strange. If he was that in prepared they should've given him 30 seconds to get together. It was very sloppy

I don't mind the Andrea and Diane team.. They're just very young.. And they're both pretty which pulls in an audience. However when there's big news going on during the weekend I'll turn to ch7 with Rob and Michelle. To be honest WCBS doesn't really have any male reporters I see as anchors. They'd need to hire from the outside.

It is weird.. I know its happened before but David Navarro was in for Rob Nelson yesterday and Ken Rosato is in today.
