They've now withdrawn its petition. Why even file in the first place?
They didn't even give a reason.

Has WOIO in Cleveland moved from RF10 to RF18?
I think that's their translator in Akron. Their main signal is still on 10. And you're at the wrong thread anyway.

In the article it mentions KPTH in Sioux City IA - that's FOX; CBS is KMEG, owned by Waitt Broadcasting and run by Sinclair. You think Sinclair might move CBS to a KPTH subchannel like it's done in other markets?

Let's move the NBCSN shutdown rumors to Speculatron, OK?

According to Zap2it, Waynesville's Comcast system carries NBC from Jacksonville and CBS/Fox/ABC from Savannah. Plus, the system apparently goes only up to Channel 61, so it's a system Comcast never upgraded.
There are a lot of these systems listed on the other forum:

You made a good point, but I still oppose this.
Because you're afraid a major-market Big 4 affiliate would change its COL to a podunk town like Decatur (pop. 7,094)?

But what about KSHV? Since Mission is getting KMSS from Marshall, Mission can't acquire KSHV from White Knight. Unless Mission go for a failed waiver, but I don't think its a failed station.
Maybe Nexstar proper can go for KSHV (with a failed waiver).

KSHB canceled its pay-for-play lifestyle show Kansas City Live.
What's airing in its place?

All I'm getting out of today's info is that for some reason, I think I really need to go to Arby's after work today. It's my understanding they have the meats.
For sandwiches.

God bless her! She's like Betty White and Carol Channing... all in their 90s, all legends and all are still going!
Fixed.

Well, come midnight it looks like we're in for another government shutdown, I would assume the cable networks are going to stay live into the overnight hours and the weekend evenings again?
And possibly into Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

What about KGWC's full-power license? It was supposed to be donated to Central Wyoming College.

So where are you supposed to put Univision or Telemundo newscasts that are from the USA?
Univision and Telemundo videos can stay on this thread.

Can we split off the international videos into their own Classic Thread?

Surprise Nexstar didn't make a move for WAAY31.
They couldn't because of the Top 4 rule.

If it's like all the other ABC shows, very poorly. All ABC shows perform poorly in STL. KDNL is one of the worst performing affiliates in the country.
How did ABC do on KTVI? A good number of ABC shows were preempted or delayed on KTVI before they switched to FOX.

Like with all of this, cable/sat coverage is good enough, and their TV/phone app is more than acceptable now. They cheaped out on their digital transmitters and they're paying for it now; Ion can run five signals and an HD easily. TBN can barely fit five subs on their multiplexers, and upgrades aren't coming to them. Maybe the Crouches should have put off that eighth house and fourth jet purchase in the mid-2000s.
RabbitEars is saying at least one TBN station has gone HD, can't remember which one.

KLUJ off the air?
I just saw on the FCC LMS that KLUJ has turned in its license for cancellation. Why did they do it? Are they off the air now? Is there an official statement from TBN?

As per WPXT’s Wikipedia page, Ironwood is in the process of selling WPXT to Sinclair, which would pair it up with WGME & WPFO, but there was no citation or other sources.
Trip from RabbitEars just confirmed it was a mistake on their part.
Yep, that's a mistake. WPME got sold to ION, and WPFO (not WPXT) filed something on the same day that was apparently an internal reorganization at Sinclair. I misread it as WPXT being sold separately to Sinclair. (Which could have made sense as well.)Sorry about that.

Anywho, Brady is unloading one of its stations.
Brady is donating its Idaho Falls station, KXTF to religious broadcaster, TCT.
KXTF is in Twin Falls.

KOFY would lose half its coverage and probably flip to a Spanish/ethnic format. Where would the syndicated shows go?

New M&A Tonight. CNZ is buying another station.
They're getting Granite Broadcasting's KOFY-TV through its Stryker Media subsidiary for $6M.
This leaves Granite with one station, WTVH Syracuse (run by Sinclair).

It's been silent since May 2016. There are not going to be many opportunities to resurrect it.
How come?

can Gray even own WFXU outright? Will it have to be converted to a low power station (like WAGT) in order to legally own it?
There might be a failing station waiver involved.

Toledo? There's just one station there.
