I checked rabbitears.info and fcc.gov, so far, no mention of KBGF-LD. If they had flash-cut to digital, the two sites would have told us by now.I highly doubt it. KBGF was only available in analog until last week. Until a couple of weeks ago, their weather graphics consisted of frozen radar screen captures. -
And if the sale goes through, Des Moines will still have eight unique station owners.Well' date=' we heard the news yesterday that Nexstar is buying Phoenix's KASW, which I didn't see this coming from a mile away. But this afternoon, Mike Malone from the B&C states his sources said that Nexstar might be getting Pappas' Des Moines CW station KCWI next. Perry Sook didn't confirm the news but the article states that he "said he hoped to do so "Very soon." -
KDBC relaunched overnight, showing off these color bars (from my Mexican source):
Bad link - no image

That would be a massive downgrade for WOIO and CBS.
Far more likely that Gannett, Scripps or Tribune will buy WBNX's intellectual property as a whole, run it in 720p on 3.2, 5.2 or 8.2, and Angely simply cashes out on 55.1.
Fixed.

Think we should create a new thread on WBNX and move some posts over there?
-
Or he could cash it out at the spectrum auction for a cool $130 million.[WBNX] is enough of an asset for Angely to sell off if this scandal gets worse.http://wireless.fcc.gov/incentiveauctions/learn-program/docs/compensation-charts.pdf
In this case, The CW would move to WUAB, while MNT gets bumped to overnight.

Sinclair To Carry New Grit Multicast Network
Sinclair Broadcasting, the nation’s largest station owner, said it will carry Grit, the new digital multicast network aimed at men, in 47 markets.

And there's WSET. It covers Lynchburg while WDBJ and WSLS focus on Roanoke.

Why would it be FOX 5 when it's on varying cable channel numbers across the market:Speaking of Nexstar' date=' I have no idea how we missed this. MyNetworkTV programming in Springfield, MO, which was originally a secondary affiliation on KRBK, has moved to KOZL. In addition, KRBK is now "Fox 5".Mediacom Springfield - Channel 10 (5 is KSPR-DT2 CW)
Charter Osage Beach - Channel 4 (5 is religious indie KNLJ Columbia)
Suddenlink Branson - Channel 9 (5 is Branson Visitor TV)
Cox Harrison AR - Channel 5
"FOX Ozarks" would be a better brand.

My apologies.....the last post was a pocket-post.
Pocket-post? What's that?

Both sites have two records, one a pending application, the other saying it's operating under "Special Temporary Authority". What's that mean, and which one's right?
Also, KBGF HD hasn't been picked up yet by Charter Cable. It would usually be in the 500 range.
