I made my first visit to Las Vegas in 1994 (change from a NASA engineer to an IT engineer) and attended NetWorld+InterOp in May 1994. KLAS was using PYCCO8 at that point for Eyewitness News and still had Real News on their "local update" on CNN Headline News. I enjoyed the closes - most were a full minute or longer with nice clean cuts of the music (I have them on 8mm tape, somewhere...) J

OMG - I just cracked up at that open... Either someone created good "fake" open, or Someone at BTQ-7 had a political agenda... Don't think you'd see something like that in the states. J

I was just in NY for the weekend and caught the "generic" News 4New York open (not even mentioning the time of day or that it's on NY Non-stop. I wonder if it's an Olympic thing or permanent? J
