  1. CW's golf schedule won't change in 2023. After that, I don't think we'll see much golf on CW unless LIV carries on as a distinct tour with its own events.
  2. Rory McIlroy this morning:
  3. Stelter also wrote about it for New York Magazine.
  4. For Atlantic subscribers, there's a long article on Chris Licht today. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2023/06/cnn-ratings-chris-licht-trump/674255/

    Sunbeam

Getting off-track a bit, I would not be surprised if more stations diverted 4:00 a.m. resources to middle-of-the-day newscasts instead. Sunbeam has much more flexibility, of course, with one station independent and one station only giving up two hours a day to FOX.
  9. I don't see any conflict of interest. But I imagine he's close to retirement anyway.
  10. Donna Deegan, former WTLV anchor, won her mayoral runoff election. She will be the new Jacksonville, Fla., mayor this summer.

  12. KTTV already had a replacement lined up at news director. https://files.constantcontact.com/143c1a10201/45e2735a-2fed-4604-a055-6d9b4d309890.pdf?rdr=true
  13. $35 million seems like a bargain for a station in southern California. I am conflicted about how the operations will co-exist.

  19. TEGNA paid $325 million for the KFMBs (TV, FM, AM). They turned around and got $5 million for the radio stations.
  20. I must admit, I had to check the date too. By the way, Hearst strongly relies on promoting from within the company for management.
  21. If you like "reports," MSNBC has "reports." (now everyone look in the same direction for your headshot)
