Has anyone noticed that Jessica Boyington hasn't been on-air since the beginning of February? Her social media has been pretty quiet since February 7th.

I see a lot of viewers commenting on the Action News pages about Melissa Magee. Why has she disappeared lately?

Maybe they can call Susan Barnett back as main anchor. She was liked and kept it kinda stable after the Alycia Lane and Mandte incident. I think Susan still lives in Philly area since her husband is a Doctor.

I see Susan on a commercial for a lawyer firm in Philly. They show it a lot on CBS3.

Here's the debut edition of the 4pm news. It appears that Ukee left the program after the first block, and Jessica only appeared to deliver headlines at the bottom of the hour. Kate Bilo provided a weather hit in that same A-block, while Lauren Casey delivered the 2 full forecasts.

 

I thought it was pretty interesting. Definitely is different than other Philly newscasts. It has a 'Good Day Philadelphia' feel with them sitting around the couch. I like that they show a lot of behind the scenes cameras, like the newsroom and control room.

I think it's unnecessary to have Ukee and Kate on there. They should leave Ukee and Kate with the 5, 10 and 11 and just let Lauren, Natasha and Alexandria do the 4. Feels like there's too many people on one show.

Look for radical changes coming to the AM show at CBS3. Early look at May book... they finished dead last in every half hour period.

That’s not good! They revamped the morning show two years ago by adding Donovan. Then they replaced Brooke Thomas after six months. Wonder what drastic changes they would make this time around?

New job posting for a meteorologist at CBS. WPVI has quietly debuted Action News at 5pm on Sundays, anchored by Walter and Sarah, and it is not a special edition as it is listed in the coming Sundays too.

That's interesting. I thought it was just special coverage for Hurricane Irma. Is it really necessary to have a 5pm broadcast on a Sunday? Didn't think that many people watched during the weekend

I really think we're gonna hear about retirement soon for Glenn. With the addition of Steve Sosna, they will now have six meteorologists. You could make it seven if you count Violeta Yas, from Telemundo 62, who occasionally fills in on Channel 10

Looks like Justin Drabick will now be doing weeknight traffic reports for KYW Newsradio. He said he will be doing the weather for a few more weekend mornings. Wonder if the new guy will fill his spot or they're looking for someone else?

Looks like Channel 6 re-did their weather graphics a bit. There's a new banner for the titles and some of the forecasts are changed

So far I am liking Kyla Grogan. I think she's perfect for a morning slot since she seems hype and has a great personality

Now they sent Vittoria down the Shore today. They are calling it "CBS3 At The Shore"

 

Michelle Grossman's been working weekends on NBC10 again, although she was off this weekend. Justin also does traffic on CBS3 during the weekday mornings occasionally. I've been wanting to check it out but I always seem to be out to lunch at that time. Is it just like a regular newscast or does it still have some stuff from Talk Philly?

 

The new Eyewitness News at Noon is much better than "Talk Philly". They are actually doing good interviews and Ukee, Pat, and Katie are interacting with each other since the change of the 12pm show.

 

Carol Erikson just announced on Facebook that she got offered a new contract at CBS3 but is not taking it

I saw on Facebook tonight that Chris May anchored his last newscast on CBS3. What is going on there at the station? They stopped Talk Philly, they took off the 7-9am broadcast on The CW, and now Chris May is gone.

Is anybody else having trouble watching the videos on the NBC10 website? I haven't been able to watch anything for months. I tried all different browsers and still no luck. I have Adobe Flash enabled for my main browser (Google Chrome). When I hit play on a video, it says "THE SELECTED ITEM IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE"
