My guess is: a. this means that WPIX reporters will soon show up on "NewsNation", or have their WPIX reports shown there, and b. the Nexstar closing animation could show up at the end of one of WPIX's newscasts as early as today, no???
I believe it took WDKY a week to get the Nexstar closing animation back in the fall, but then again it's market 63, not 1.

Scripps has announced the completion of the sale of WPIX to Mission today.
The Lighthouse only held the station for 468 days.
Yep, and the website has both as of now.

I really hope some of the older Gray stations get an update, but most likely won't until the ALL the Raycom stations get updated.
WYMT has had the same look since 4/2014 and WKYT since 9/2015

Great! Now I have to break out my indoor antenna! Otherwise, I'm stuck with 2 crappy low budget understaffed stations owned by Sinclair and Morris!
Ah yes. Don't miss that combo anymore. Now we just have Morris left in Lexington. Hope that changes soon lol but WDKY went dark around 7 last night.
At least Nexstar is giving WDKY an antenna upgrade, from directional to non directional to improve their coverage.

WKRN graphics look nice! Really wish the ABC logo and 2 would swap places though.

WDKY-56 now has the nexstar website:

I would be extremely shocked if they do.
Making election graphics is extremely time consuming. That is what I was thinking as well.
-
Wonder if we will even see any other stations do anything until after election day? I am sure most have their graphics tested and created for the election results.

Not many left.

CINCINNATI – The E.W. Scripps Company (NASDAQ: SSP) will expand its commitment to Michigan audiences early next year by producing its own local newscasts at WSYM, its Fox affiliate in Lansing.
The introduction of local news operations at WSYM builds on Scripps’ footprint across Michigan: its three markets reach approximately 81% of the state’s TV households. Scripps also owns WXYZ (ABC) and WMYD (MY Network) in Detroit and WXMI (Fox) in Grand Rapids. WSYM previously aired local news from WILX, the NBC affiliate in Lansing owned by Gray Television.

I’m not sure this means KSTU has actually switched to the graphics fully yet. I believe all stations have switched to the new graphics in their live streams.
Oh yeah, some of those screenshot were just the online updates for KRIS, KSBY and KERO.

I'm watching KSTU's live stream. They're the new station with the graphics.
But on some of the bumpers, I hear the OSI theme music playing with the new graphics. I hope they get that fixed.
Nice! I was just watching it yesterday. They need to get rid of that times new roman 13.
Keeps getting smaller.

So KOAA launched their 4 pm on Monday. I would’ve thought that would be the natural time to make the switch. I’m very surprised KOAA launched a whole new newscast using the old graphics. What’s funny, is an insider has shown me what their 4 pm open will look like with the new graphics. So it’s already made. Why would they go to the trouble to make an open with the old graphics instead of just using the new ones they seem to have ready? Something seems weird.
That does seem strange.

This is who we have left, right? I don't think KOAA has switched yet.

Alright, WTVR now has the new Scripps graphics and music. The new look debuted during the 4pm newscast today. I’m so glad.
https://www.wtvr.com/liveThat was quick. Set doesn’t look as dark as WTKR thankfully.
