Lexi Sutter from WMAQ/NBC5 Chicago was sent to assist NBC4 LA with coverage. On a separate note I was in that area for my Cousin's wedding in September. Allot of what I saw on the Pacific Coast Highway is now gone.
-
Anyone know what happened to Lauren Victory? I haven't seen her on air since September, her bio is still up.
-
I would like to see the WGN morning news team do this again
-
WFLD in the Chicago area will be showing coverage from the Fox stations in Orlando and Tampa after the nine o'clock news.
-
Good afternoon, how come cameramen shooting NFL or College football games ware vests? Is this to lessen the likely hood of a player accidently running into them? Thanks

How often would you say the shade is down VS up? I've been past there when they are on the air, very interesting to see what the anchors do during commercial breaks. Got a kick out of watch the sports guy reading from his notes and not the prompter when showing highlights. Don't forget ESPN 1000 has there StreetSide studio right next-door. Got to see Carm and Juriko, and Waddle/Silvy when I've walked past.

What is studio 32? And this summer they had several morning shows anchored out on the plaza
-
Saw her when I watch the six o'clock coverage

Looks like these Olympic games gave NBC gave big ratings boost https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/2024-olympics-final-tv-ratings-nbcuniversal-1235972438/

Who would you all say had the best and worst conversation coverage of the convention?
-
Interesting, in what ways would you say WFLD has improved? The nine o'clock and four o'clock teams are seem decent.
-
I tend to view veterans as someone who has been at the station and/or market for at least 10 years. Yes Dorothy Tucker would be a veteran, as for the others you mentioned they are well on there way. Oh and Dane Palcko is also a WFLD veteran.
-
The only two veterans you have there are Dave & Dana. At WFLD you have Lou,Joanie, and Roseanne as your veteran reporters.
-
Wasn't WBBM having ratings issues before Lyons took over? And they have over the years made some bad decisions, such as firing Rob Johnson.
-
Good evening, how come live vans/trucks have phones? What are they typically used for? Thanks.
-
At one point she anchored the 4:30-7:00 AM block, and was in the field the 7:00-10:00 am block? Do I have that right?
-
Is it just me or is Roseanne doing mostly feature stories?
-
Anyone noticed that WFLD has taken the flags off the mics?
-
I noticed that the WBBM reporters that were covering the protests had little radios/walkie talkies on them. Why was this?
-
Looks like WMAQ,WLS, and WFLD have there anchor teams at the UC, with another back in the studio
-
How would this apply to stations that are in the host City?
-
I saw a marked WGN TV can with that permit on the windshield. Now why would a marked news vehicle need one?
